We were searching for shortbread cookies made locally or in CA. So glad we found Kelly’s Kookies. We bought the variety gift pack with 28 individually wrapped cookies. They have a wide variety. The young lady gave us a sampler to try. It melted in my mouth & was delicious, very buttery as it should. Great with teas.

I bought the $6 sample off Facebook. The cookies tasted good then they give you an unpleasant aftertaste. Not worth it at all.

oh myyyyy goodness! I was lucky enough to get a free sample of kookies and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed these, especially the shortbread. the chocolate dipped macadamia nut is wonderful and I liked the Neapolitan delight but I need more of the shortbread in my life!😋😋😋

I patiently waited my turn while others were getting rude and impatient (why take it out on the worker it's their job to answer questions) but Alyssa kept on serving with a smile.While not as glamorous as other chain stores, you really feel like a valued customer at Kelly's. These shortbread cookies are the perfect gift for co-workers who you don't care enough about to get them something they actually want.But once they try Kelly's cookies (cherry jubilee is the bedt seasonal flavor they have) they'll be asking for a lot more

The five stars are for the cookies. I have been a big fan on Kelly’s Kookies since I tried it years ago. I always get a pack or two whenever I’m at Bristol Farm, Mizuwa or Whole Foods.I recently found out KK have two stores!! I went to the Stanton one and got 15 bags for Mother’s Day!! The staff packaged 4 bags per gift box. See photos. To my surprise, there are so many different flavors than what I have seen on the market shelf! All the cookies are baked in their distribution center. So it does not matter which location you get it from. The staff at Stanton location are very friendly. They offer samples and provide information for the flavors.The store also offers free or purchased gift boxes. You can order online as well. So far we have tried Honey Lavender(very good). It is a seasonal flavor. The cookies are very fragrant and rich! The Pistachio Apricot is crunchy(cookie) and chewy(apricot) at the same time! Very interesting mix of nut and fruit. Definitely a repeat order for me!Will add notes one I open the others.

For the prices of their cookies they shouldn’t be dry, flavorless (the cookie itself not the coatings) and overbaked. I don’t know if they switched butter brands or what happened but we’ve been coming here for over 4 years and this year the quality has been noticeably lower. Was already annoyed with them for the steep price increases for the gift boxes and didn’t have time to look for an alternative this year before Christmas. Luckily I found some premium Japanese cookies we’ll be gifting this year.
