After a long flight into (LGB), I was in desperate need of a sweet treat to lift my spirits, and Sweet Gs did not disappoint. Known for their delectable cookies, this charming spot exceeded all my expectations.
I decided to try a variety of flavors: red velvet, ube, Oreo, and peanut butter. Each cookie was a little piece of heaven.
The red velvet cookie was a delightful surprise—rich, moist, and perfectly complemented by its subtle creamy frosting. It had the signature taste of red velvet cake without being overly sweet, striking a balance that made me crave another bite.
Moving on to the ube cookie, I was thrilled to discover an authentic flavor that captured the essence of this beloved Filipino dessert. The vibrant purple hue was eye-catching, and the cookie itself was wonderfully soft, with a hint of nuttiness and a delightful sweetness that kept me wanting more.
The Oreo cookie was a familiar classic that Sweet Gs executed flawlessly. It was like a gourmet version of the iconic sandwich cookie—crispy edges with a soft, chewy center that perfectly mimicked the original while adding a homemade touch. It was indulgent without being overwhelming.
Lastly, the peanut butter cookie was a dream for any peanut butter lover. Rich and creamy, it was packed with flavor and had just the right amount of chewiness. The salty-sweet balance was spot-on, making it one of my favorites from the lineup.
In addition to the incredible flavors, I have to commend the texture of these cookies. Each variety had its own unique mouthfeel, from soft and chewy to a slightly crisp exterior. Sweet Gs clearly pays attention to the details, ensuring that every bite is an experience.
The ambiance at Sweet Gs was warm and inviting, making it the perfect pit stop. The staff was friendly and eager to help, enhancing the overall experience.
If you're ever in the O.C. area—especially after a flight—do yourself a favor and swing by Sweet Gs. With their fantastic selection and impeccable execution, you’ll find some of the best cookies around. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

I normally don't care for cookies, but these are so so good for some reason! They also have unique Asian flavors that are hard to find elsewhere. My go-to have always been the Ube white Chocolate and just recently, the pandan coconut!
Minus a star because of the pricey cost and the temperature. I wished they heat up the cookies a little before giving it to you because they do taste a whole lot better, warm/hot compared to cold or at room temperature.
Parking: Parking can be difficult to find during certain hours and days.

They display their cookies so strategically- makes you feel like you need to buy one!The array of cookies here is awesome. From classic chocolate chip to Cookie Monster, they've got it all. It's a paradise for anyone with a sweet tooth. Each one is a little piece of heaven. Fresh, chewy on the inside, and just the right amount of crisp on the edges. These cookies are a tad on the pricey side. But let me tell you, after that first bite, I kind of forgot about the dent in my wallet. They're worth the indulgence every once in a while. The cashier was so nice. Always welcoming with a warm smile, ready to help with recommendations or just chat about cookies. It's those little interactions that make the experience memorable. The place itself is near Phoholic - so get your desserts after eating Pho!I like that they put a dozen of cookies in a box. The cashier was so nice to warn me that one of the cookies had a lot of chocolate drizzle and may be messy. If you're a cookie enthusiast, this place is a must-try.

Very good cookies in my opinion. I don't quite understand how there are other reviewers who don't like the cookies here. Maybe my taste buds are pedestrian. Maybe I have no care for artisanal chocolate chips. I thought the Ube cookies were very good, it didn't have a strong Ube taste but I think it's perfect for a larger audience. Especially for those who may want to try something with Ube for the first time. I came by on Christmas Eve and the cookies were just as good as when I had them for the first time the year before. The two times I've been here, it has always been pleasant and the cookies have always been consistent every time. I'm not some kind of food or cookie connoisseur like some of these reviewers on Google but I highly recommend this place. Just give any of these cookies a try. I think the star of the bunch is the Ube one but the Oreo and Cookie Monster will take the other two spots behind it.

Cute cookies... for the price they should be a little bigger or have more "toppings"..... one of my cookies barely had flavor besides sugar. Maybe i came on a bad day or something but my red velvet cookie was really good. It actually tasted like a red velvet cake..

Tasteless cookie. We tried 3 different types of cookie (ube, Cookie Monster, and marshmallow). They literally had no taste, not worth the $26. They also use Baker’s chocolate chips, so these aren’t artisanal cookies or anything.
Not impressed. Cookie was still a little raw in middle. Tasted like any other chocolate chip cookie
$5 cookie will rarely get 5 stars. The Ube white chocolate chip cookie is fantastic though. Light crispy edges with a moist chewy center that is not too sweet and has a recognizable Ube flavor.

Really delicious cookies! Definitely gotta try at rodeo 39
Sweet Jesus, Sweet G’s!The gift and curse of such good cookies- indulging in the deliciousness of these cookies will put on some major pounds. My favorites are the PB&J, Red Velvet, Funfetti, and Chocolate chip.An improvement I’d suggest is to get bigger boxes and lay the cookies next to each other instead of on top because the icing will smear and smash onto each other.
