This is a cool place inside a food hall. These onigiri are big and filling. So 3 are enough for lunch. It’s not purely rice but it has the tuna or salmon inside.

Disappointing that they would not offer a cup of water even with purchase.

I wouldn't recommend stopping by here if you have food aversions/allergies. The shop did not do a good job of properly separating the orders and then when the mistake was pointed out they were willing to correct it but needed to verify the information 3 separate times.
If you'll eat anything without adjustments you'd like it, or if you am not eating with people who need adjustments then I recommend it. Otherwise I'd say stay away.

Dietary restrictions: Don't bother if you have restrictions. They're not on top of careful separation, and will replace it if they mess up but are very unwilling to admit to error

Visited Hangar at LBX after almost an year. Its buzzing with energy and new exciting eating spots.

Stephen was our server and he was extremely helpful and explaining all the options and made good recommendations. Tenori has a simple menu and I opted to get Salmon and Tuna with Mayo Tenori balls. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality of this. It had great taste and texture.

Though this was more of a snack than a meal for me.

I love anything with spam and rice. This place is always top-notch. You wait in whatever line is there (though only once it has been packed, it’s usually barely a line present), you use the kiosk and then pick up your delicious food shortly after. Plenty of options here, clean place, super friendly staff.

Different, very tasty and good value for the 3 for $11. Concoction of your choice of meat or seafood stuffed in rice with sprinkling of condiments and wrapped in seaweed sheet which is a good source of healthy iodine.

We decided to try the mix and match onigiri, sampling the pork belly, spicy tuna, and honey walnut shrimp. The honey walnut shrimp was my favorite. However, the pork belly and spicy tuna were quite underwhelming. Both lacked any flavors I was expecting.
Overall, it’s a decent spot for a quick snack and to try something different, but I would not return.

Mostly rice, bad or no service. Wouldn't sub sauce. Overpriced and salty.

It's my second time here and the food was just as good as the first time I came. On the other hand the service was by far some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I didn't get her name but she was super rude the entire time. When I ordered on the kiosk and chose for a printed receipt but when I asked for it she rudely cut me off and told me to get it when I get my order and walked away. Then when my brother came to order with his kids there wasn't anyone in line and no one around waiting either so his kids just so happen to be standing in front of the 2nd kiosk and she rudely asked "which one are you using" and then turned around threw her hands up and walked away. The food was amazing but the customer service was horrible she had no intention on showing any customer service at all whatsoever. I didn't get her name like I said but for the owners she worked Sunday 06/02/24 at around 1:30pm

I come here often on weekends for my onigiri fix! My favorites are spicy salmon, mentai, tuna mayo, and spam musubi.

4.5 so rounding up!Whenever I go to Rodeo 39, I always have to stop by Tenori!Love that they have a deal, 3 for $11 and I usually will double up on honey walnut shrimp and then also get the pork belly. I've also tried the spicy tuna and kbbq but keep falling back to my faves.Ngl, it took me a few visits to notice that they're labeled by the paper they're wrapped in LOL. Before I would just guess which one I picked up, which wasn't the worst thing.I recently tried their poke, which I barely noticed a sign since it's not on their huge wall menu. The poke was fresh but not as spicy as I'm used to! Still good though and my fiancé thought it was a good spice. They also have lemonades and we tried the lychee one which my fiancé loved.

I feel like there aren't that many onigiri spots in Orange County so it's good to have places like Tenori that specialize in them! I tried their three most popular flavors and all of them were delicious with my favorite being the spicy salmon.

As I told my significant other, I have ordered the same order from their soft opening!!! The taste, the service, the price are pretty much the same.
