Having been stationed in South Korea for more than a year from 1988 to 1989, I fell in love with Korean people and their delicious foods. This little restaurant certainly didn't disappoint. Both the Korean staff and the non-Korean staff were very attentive and concerned that my wife and I were satisfied. The food was delicious, although the heat of their house kimchi sauce is a lot milder than how hot I know "real" kimchi sauce is supposed to be. They also didn't have jjampong, but that is more a Chinese dish than it is a traditional South Korean one. Overall I'm very glad my wife and I found the place.

The best Korean restaurant. You'll love the food and You'll love the service. Call for pick up or call and reserve ahead but make it happen because it's worth it every time. Gets some Honey orange chiKn and Fries.

Just so you guys know, they opened up a speakeasy style bar in the back called BCD (Behind Closed Doors). I went opening night. It's nicely decorated, and gives you a chill vibe. I will say, it's pretty small, so be advised that can feel cramped up.The food, like always is good. I got something new and it was goood.

I've been coming here for years and their food is consistently good! From the tofu soup to the bulgogi and bimbimbap, and I just tried the Korean BBQ the other day! Amazing! They are going to be doing hot pot soon too- can't wait! We are here tonight to check out the grand opening of the bar in the back! Great vibe, great drinks, and good people! Friendly owners and staff- can't beat that! Come check it out! I LOVE living near and working on the Miracle Mile!

This is our go to place for Korean food in the Central Valley. We love that they serve banchan and the Combination tofu soup with another meal really satisfies our cravings. Service is great and the ambiance is ok.I definitely would recommend this place.

Absolutely, delighted to award this company a well-deserved 5 stars! Their exceptional service and delectable cuisine, particularly the must-try barbecue, have left a lasting impression. The use of prime ingredients ensures that everything is consistently top-notch.While indulging in their Korean barbecue, an all-you-can-eat experience, it's crucial to be aware of a few rules. The clear and strict menu is the key to a smooth dining experience; ordering outside of it is considered extra, and they communicate this effectively to avoid any misunderstandings. Be prepared for the informative introduction to these rules upon your arrival if it's your first time.Rule number 1. Humbly listen to rules! Especially if you have not been the before.Rule number 2, where assistance is provided by one of the Korean owners during your grill experience, adds a personalized touch to ensure you're savoring the flavors correctly. Rule number 3 emphasizes the importance of finishing what you order, reflecting their commitment to minimizing food wastage, with excess waste subject to charges. Notably, the gratuity is included in the bill - a convenient detail to be aware of in advance.Once the dining experience begins, the service is unparalleled. From drink refills to ensuring you're completely satisfied with your dinner process, the staff goes above and beyond.Personal favorites include the steamed egg, potstickers, and the exceptional bulgogi beef. The traditional Korean plates featuring various vegetables add a delightful touch to the overall culinary experience. Oh, save room for desert! In conclusion, I highly recommend this establishment for those who appreciate a fantastic dining experience within the outlined rules. If these rules align with your preferences, you're in for a treat - frustration-free. This place unquestionably earns a solid 5-star rating!

Maybe 3.5 stars? Ambiance is okay. Sat at the regular tables for lunch. We were seated as a party of 2 at one table then were changed for another due to a large party reservation. The large party was late and in the end didn't show- they should consider charging a deposit for large parties. They have limited space and to almost send customers away for a party that didn't show up is a little off. My mom ordered the bulgogi and I ordered the spare ribs. She was satisfied and I was content. Could've had more of a wow factor but they were good. They have added Korean bbqs and would be possibly interested in trying that option. They do have friendly service but its really odd that tip is already included. The waiter made a comment that our table was good even though we were waiting to get his attention. I think businesses should charge more if they want their employees to make more. Gratuity should be given at the discretion of the guest. The owner was very kind and attentive when the waiter wasn't.

It has been awhile I came here. We had bbq all you can eat. We cook ourselves, which is okay. The waitresses are very on top. Very good service. Only thing I didn't care is 18% upfront tipping, but I figure once in lift time. Try it out and to be honest. I felt rush. I had hour an half to eat but I didn't feel like didnt eat that much and vegetable was $3 per each order (I didn't order...it would cost $6 to $9). Would come back, probably not. I can go somewhere else and get my money worth and it includes veggies. Love the services.

I have been coming here since they first opened after the British place closed and wow oh wow! Incredible and consistently amazing! I went to college in SoCal and I tried many Korean restaurants and nothing beats Seoul Soon Dubu. My best friend even vacationed in Korea and said the food wasn't as good as Tofu House! Everything is delicious, but my favorites are the tteokbokki appetizer (it's huge), and the seafood pancake appetizer (it's also huge). The short ribs are so well flavored and the bibimpbap is also awesome. I read a complaint regarding the "burnt rice" at the bottom of the bibimbap .... IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THAT! in Japanese we call the burned rice "koge" and it's the best part because it's crunchy and delicious. The side dishes alone deserve a medal. I love the variety and the jap chae, fish cake, broccoli, all the kimchis, and the bean sprouts are my favorite... well I like them all so really you can't go wrong!

Had dinner here at around 6:30 p.m. on a Wednesday. The place was pretty busy, but I was lucky to get a table for one right away. The guy at the front said tax is included - it's nice they tell you up front.I got the seafood soon dubu and it was scalding hot when it got to the table. It came with rice and a bunch of banchan that was delicious. The soup had one huge shrimp with the head and shell on, some clams, some peeled shrimp, silky tofu, and I added an egg which is extra. It was a lot of food. I ended up taking some of the banchan home.It came out to $21 including a little extra tip. Not super cheap, but everything was great. Would come back to try the seafood pancake.

Always a great experience whenever I come here! It's the only Korean bbq spot here in Stockton so it can fill up pretty quickly. They also have the front part of the restaurant where you can eat if you don't want the AYCE experience. I always order pork belly, bulgogi, short ribs, and multiple rounds of brisket. I also order a spicy tofu soup, steamed egg, jap chae, and pot stickers as well. My daughters love the steamed egg and pot stickers. This is a family owned and ran restaurant. They are very welcoming and very attentive. Sometimes you find them doing rounds making sure everyone is enjoying themselves. Their staff are also amazing! Parking can be a little tricky sometimes especially on busy evenings but usually I can find a spot in the back lot.Don't hesitate to try if ever in the area!

This review is for the all you can eat experience. My husband and I came here for date night. We were told wait was 15 minutes, that turned into 30/40 minutes. We didn't mind, we had really wanted to give this local place a try. Overall good food & experience! The owner was super friendly, gave my husband the Wi-Fi password. The main restrooms were being used so he allowed me to use one in the back where the karaoke bar was. (Which is still currently closed). He told us how they are working on opening another section with smaller tables so the wait isn't too long for couples. The server was very attentive, we asked what the best sides were & she recommended the most popular ones. The jap chea was delish! We tried all of the meats, the beef bulgogi being our fave. Some of the meats aren't marinated. That would be the only complaint. There were many usuals & loved that the owner was walking around & conversing with customers.

The spicy chicken and their teriyaki chicken with house made teriyaki is pretty delicious. The teriyaki sauce isn't too sweet and has a texture of gravy like, which I enjoyed. The chicken was very moist, better than their beef dishes I've had in the past.Tofu soup is good. I got a spice level of spicy, but it's never too spicy for me. The cucumber kim chi style is crunchy and delicious, so is the kimchi. Everything hit the spot for me.Customer service has always been good here. If you're here for the kkbq they have seating in a different area under the vents. They have a parking lot in the back if you can't find any in the front.
