I’ve been to BCD twice now, and both times the drinks were well above average. Their cocktail game is solid—easily on par with Prime Table, Market Tavern, and Black Rabbit—but with a more intimate speakeasy vibe.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and you can tell they put care into every drink they serve. It’s definitely one of the best cocktail spots in Stockton, especially considering the lack of real competition.
That said, the place is almost always empty when I go. It deserves way more foot traffic, and I think with a stronger push in promotions and local marketing, BCD could really thrive. Still, if you’re looking for quality cocktails in a laid-back, hidden gem of a bar—this is it.

Comfortable and cool, speakeasy vibe (yes, really, in Stockton) and awesome, creative cocktails. You can order Korean food from the attached restaurant. Claude and his wife have really created a gem that this town needed.

Excellent cocktails. I suggest the Manhattan and Old Fashioned immensely. Real drinks, nice people, great atmosphere.
Best cocktails in town. Their cucumber martini is bomb, ask to have it made spicy and you're gonna be in heaven!
