Rude host. Didn't speak, threw the menus on a table and walked away. Slow service. Changed servers mid-way. Brought food but no plates. Brought the wrong salad. Distracted, inattentive servers. We are regulars and our guest of honor chose BJs for her birthday. I was embarrassed to bring her to BJs for her special day.

Greatly enjoyed our meal and time spent with friends. We were a large party on a busy night so we expected our dinner being a little late. Overall it was a great dining experience.

Regardless of my reservations, we waited for 40 minutes before a table was ready for us. We sat down and noticed several ants on the table, which was quite unappealing. Waiter got our drinks fast out initially but rarely came back to refill them. The food was okay and took quite some time to come out.

accommodating, attentive but not too friendly. I would have liked friendly interaction. Excellent Customer Service should also come with a smile but overall, the staff were very helpful. I can give them an A without the plus.

Not a well-managed restaurant. No waitress was assigned to our table. Took nearly half an hour just to get water. They were out of two things we ordered. Asked specifically for one of the meals to exclude an ingredient that my husband is allergic to. Seemed like they added it but then realized and took most of them off, but not all of them. And then missed another ingredient entirely. The waitress who did finally help us was great, but clearly management doesn't have a handle on process.

The food was good. The service was poor. It was very slow. Someone didn't get my order right and I wound up with two spices that I specifically told them not to put on my salad. The floors were sticky, but that may be more a sign of how busy the restaurant was. I don't like the fact that the bill came with a suggested tip of 18% rather than letting the customer choose the tip based on the quality of service.

This past weekend we used BJ's catering service. The online ordering and options were great. Easy to navigate and reasonably priced. Trays were on average 6 servings according to the website but definitely served more.

The problem is the radius for delivery was garbage. You'd assume it would be extended for catering but it was not. We ordered $600 worth of food and had to get it ourselves. So it was more like take out than catering.

When picking up the food the employee at the counter placed all the boxes on the counter without offering to help bring anything out to the car.

Also, when checking out online there was a tipping option for door dash drivers and the takeout counter. I don't know why they would ask for a tip for a non-existent driver and for someone at the takeout counter to simply move boxes from the shelf to the counter. Tipping should be given when services are actually received.

My brother and I came in for lunch for my birthday. We were promptly seated, and met by our waiter, Michael B. He set us up with our drinks, and gave us info on the specials. The presentation and quality of the entrée's were exceptional, and served with enthusiasm and care. I've been to BJ's before in the past, but haven't stopped by in years. Our experience and service was wonderful and pleasant. Thank you, Michael B. and BJ's Restaurant in Stockton!
