Blossom Tea Room is a charming and quaint tea room located on lower Sac in a small business center, with ample parking available. The dress code is casual, but guests are encouraged to embrace the full tea experience by dressing up in hats and gloves. Reservations are required to attend, and the tea room opens promptly at the scheduled time.
The interior of the tea room is comfortable and inviting, with a menu offering a variety of teas, including the unique caramelized pear and jasmine white tea options. Guests are served a warm blueberry scone, which is delicate and crumbly, accompanied by delicious lemon curd. The meal includes a tomato bisque soup, a small salad, and a tiered tray featuring a selection of sandwiches, including cucumber, egg salad, tri-tip, and chicken salad on a croissant. The small bites are well-presented, and the tri-tip is particularly noteworthy.
The tea room also offers a variety of delectable desserts, including a fruit tart, pecan tart, lemon bar, brownie, and a chocolate ganache and raspberry tart. The owners make a point to visit each table and thank the guests for their patronage, adding a personal touch to the overall experience.
While the tea room has received positive reviews in the past, some guests have reported longer wait times for their teas and meals during more recent visits, possibly due to staffing challenges. However, the tea room remains a popular destination, especially for families, with the "princess" menu catering to younger guests and making them feel special.
