I was ready to be disappointed, but boy did this place blow my mind. I was greeted as soon as I walked threw the door. The greeter set the total vibe of the place. He was pleasant, great smile & attitude. it wasn't busy so we got seated as we walked in. FYI this is a very spacious restaurant. The waitress was super sweet with a welcoming smile & very informative. We got the family bag(don't quote me on the name) it was reasonable in price $58 for 3 ibs of everything....

Ordered snow crab legs and it was so yummy! The captains special sauce was bomb! However when I ordered the fried oysters and shrimps, the side was more than the protein. The onion rings dominated it. But it was fried to perfection. The location is walking distance to La quinta Inn and the area itself is sketchy. Decided to take away instead of dining in so I cannot fully comment on the service but the takeout counter personnel was courteous enough

I was first introduced to Captain Crab about 2 years ago by a friend and my family and I have continued to go ever since. Delicious ? A variety of seafood offerings and flavors. My hubby prefers fried dishes like fried catfish, fried mushrooms, hush puppies, you name it, they have it! Always seated and served pretty quickly too.
