I’m giving this place a 2 not because the food was horrible it was just ok, seemed rushed but my order took forever, also I got one small tarter sauce for 5 pieces of fish, also the plate was very sloppy. The containers of hot sauce were placed inside with the food which melted the plastic and hot sauce was all over my food along with melted plastic and I don’t like hot sauce on my chicken or fish. I wouldn’t return , it’s unfortunate because this is the ONLY soul food place in Stockton and it was very expensive, to much for the portion and what is offered

The grease needs to be changed. The parsley on fried food makes no sense. (In my opinion). I ordered a 10 piece fired wing with corn & fries. I was told they were out of corn so I decided on green beans. Which I never received. The fries were soggy &almost like mashed potatoes. I arrived at 4 received my food at 445. The young man was nice. This isn't to bash but my review. 22 dollars is mighty expensive to not received what I ordered.(In my opinion). No I would not like anything to compensate for the experience. I travel a lot for my job and i am never in the same place long. To the business owner I still wish you the best.Parking: Ample space

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Stockton ca . The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Highly recommend!
Went by last week for a plate and this was just gross. Too salty and tasted like it was straight out of a can. A complete waste of money.

UPDATE!!!: I’ve NEVER worked here. This is an actual review. Since making this review, I have received emails from this business owner. Her name is Antoinnette Miller, stating that if I don’t take this review off her page and the reviews that other family members have made after we all came and experienced a horrible time that she will sue us for defamation. This lady is funded by the city of Stockton through grants and provides horrible service. I encouraged my family members to make reviews on their experience and she discredited their reviews saying that she wasn’t open during the days that they made reviews. please save your time and money. We have actual pictures while inside her restaurant food was salty soggy and customer service was awful.I’ve ordered 3 times from this place and the food is always late, the staff is rude, I contacted the owner Antionette, to complain and she was very unprofessional and rude she hung up on me twice. She just didn’t care. The actual location is filthy I don’t see how the city keeps them open but it must be because they also sell Amazon pallet donations that are sold at a low cost at this place as well. The food was okay not with the cost and it was just cold. I observed the workers arguing the last time in the kitchen and they weren’t wearing gloves. Won’t be returning
