We drove pretty far across town to eat here because of the reviews and because they were open late. We ate inside the restaurant. The atmosphere was okay but extremely loud! We shared a few appetizers. The karage chicken was okay, but needed a sauce. We were charged $2 for aioli, which tasted bad. We didn't eat it. We also tried the spicy mayo $1 which was much better. The mixed tempura were average. The fried pork belly had more Brussel sprouts than pork. We had high hopes for it, but it was our least favorite dish. I would skip it. The winner of the night were the spicy chicken wings. They were amazing! Nice and hot and the skin was crispy even with sauce on it. I would go back just for the wings. In hindsight, we should have ordered some sushi. I personally would not come back because there are plenty of other restaurants to try. But if you go to Cocoro, definitely try the wings!!

Tonight, however, I want to give a special shoutout to our server, Evan. He greeted us warmly with a āwelcome backā and immediately remembered our usual order, even down to the small detail of asking, āYou like a Coke with your dinner, right?ā Itās thoughtful gestures like this that keep us coming back every other week. Outstanding service. I got their spicy sesame seared tuna roll and it was AMAZING. It came with a delicious dipping sauce. Definitely would come back any time Iām in Stockton.

Just left a perfect dinner with my wife and son. It was our first time, my wife picked it for her birthday and she canāt stop talking about how great it was. My son and I agree with her, everything we tried was amazing. Very fresh ingredients, beautifully plated, cool atmosphere and awesome service. Itās our new favorite sushi place!

Took my daughter there on Friday night. Always talking about how good the sushi was. sadly disappointed. I ordered the spicy scallop roll. I used to eat there at least once a week previous to moving to Sonora CA. I will not eat there again. the scallops were rubbery and the sushi was not plated as before. I was more disappointed for my daughter hearing about this place from me. From now on I will wait to eat at MAKUNI in Sacto. The food is better so you don't mind spending a 100.00 on the bill. That did not count the drink and tip.

My fiancƩ and I were looking for a sushi restaurant in Stockton and we are so glad we found Cocoro Bistro. We had the best sushi, drinks and service! The presentation in the food and drinks were next level, the taste was a 10/10. We will for sure be coming back to this awesome sushi bar. We enjoyed it!
