My first time there. The food was excellent. The service was great. And I loved how you had a booth with a curtain and it was privacy. Will definitely go there
This is a beautiful restaurant, right off of I-5 on March Lane in Stockton. When you walk through the door, you are greeted. Walking into the dining room, you see an amazing decor. Several booths along the wall have curtains that give you a romantic experience. The prices are not what you would expect, they are very reasonable. The food is amazing. We went for lunch, and the meals were under $12 each. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.

Update: Tuesday, March 12, 2024 PMTried Dave Wongs again tonight after quite lengthy absence. The last few times we’ve been there we were not very happy with the food and the waiters did not seem very happy to be there.But we were craving Chinese food so we thought what the heck, we’ll give it a try.I’m glad we did.We ordered crab Rangoon, sweet-and-sour pork, chicken fried rice and lemon chicken.Everything was made hot and fresh! Very tasty. Probably the best meal we’ve had here in a long time.And to top it off, we had Danny as our server who did an awesome job. Kudos to him.While the food and service were good, the restaurant is a bit dated and needs a refresh. It needs new carpet and new table tops. They are showing their age.I’m sure we will go back sometime soon! After all, Dave Wong has the best chicken salad in town!————————Update: Tuesday, January 3, 2023Again, no Bueno!My son wanted Chinese food so we went to Dave Wong’s for a late afternoon early dinner.Second time that we’ve not been happy here.Crab Rangoon appetizer had a very strong fishy smell/taste! Spoiled?Garlic chicken is atrocious. Fatty skin with heavy batter! Thumbs downHow can you mess up sizzling rice soup? By using old, not fresh, sizzling rice that had hard kernels in it!We ordered chicken fried rice with no veggies and extra egg. It was decent.Next time we will go to where I want to go… probably to China Palace. I’ve had pretty good luck there.Not giving Dave Wongs another chance!_____________No Bueno tonight!Won’t be returning anytime soon.Sadly the quality is not there like it had been in years past.I ordered the barbecue ribs, chicken salad, crab Rangoon.Neither the barbecued ribs or the crab Rangoon were anywhere near hot/fresh when they were served.A couple of the ribs had cold spots close to the bone. Kind of like they had taken them out of the refrigerator and stuck them in the microwave!Same with the crab Rangoon. Nowhere near fresh and hot. More like warm and soggy.The chicken salad was probably the best out of the items that I ordered. Although, not as good as pre-Covid. Probably have different cooks now.I won’t be in a rush returning.China Palace will be my go to restaurant for Chinese food!Parking: Hard to find parking when they’re busyWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair and mobility scooter accessible

I am always impressed with the quality of food as well as the amount. The photo shows the #3 and the price is amazing for the amount of food! The prawns are mouth watering and the rice is always on point! I have eaten here 20+ times and it is a family favorite! Even if we spend 100+$ we feel it's worth it for what we get and that is rare these days! Dining in is a great experience as well they have private booths! Just try it, you won't be sorry!

I was trying to place an order for take out, but for some reason the lady was having an attitude with me, which is very upsetting because I really enjoy the food, just the service provided was awful, whatever that lady is going through, I hope she feels better. And please if anybody is going through something dont take it out on customers. your just ruining the buisness and other peoples days. And yes I decided not to get food from this place, and I'm not ever again the way I was awfully treated.
