Came here for the first time on Monday. Had breakfast planned with a friend and she suggested we try the Duck Nook as it was 1) 5 minutes away from her house and 2) It was a beloved Stockton diner. I've never heard of it, so it was a first for both of us. We arrived around 11am, and there were not many people, so we were seated right away. I ordered a glass of orange juice with the Duck Waffle breakfast and an extra side of hash browns; my friend ordered the Huevos Rancheros. Our food was great, and the servers were very attentive. Overall we had a great time and would totally be back.
It was great, nice and quiet and we took forever but they never made us feel rushed. Perfect intimate breakfast place.
We had brunch at The Duck Nook and the food was great. The atmosphere was fine but there was no A/C and it was warmer than I like. The service was ok. Unfortunately, we had to ask for water a few times, (no big deal) but one of the employees we asked told us to "relax". Very unexpected, unnecessary and unprofessional.
Parking: There is a small parking lot behind the eatery.

Im diabetic and i woke up hungry so i was excited when i found the duck nook not too far away from my house. My excitement quickly faded. I went with a friend and he qot the chicken fried steak that tasted pretty good but was so small that i should have known that something would be wrong with the 2 breakfast burrito meal that i ordered. Not only did it take 3 times as long to prepare as the chicken fried steak but when it showed up i was shocked to find out that the 2 burritos stated on the menu but was actually 1 (already small for the price) burrito cut in half! What the!!!!!!??????. I should have just gotten up and walked out without eating but im not that rude, i just ate my outrageously over priced breakfast and paid the bill and left. So even though there was a really cute girl working there i wont be going back to the duck nook. The burrito was actually almost the exact size of my phone (pixel 8) and then it was cut in half and called 2 burritos

Wish I could give less than one star.
I'm a Stockton local and was excited to try this place. While waiting for our food one roach ran across the floor and another on the chair at the table next to me. Needless to say we walked out without eating... Stay away from this place.

Nice pleasant and quaint; those potatoes took me back to my childhood. I had the waffle, bacon, eggs, coffee with potatoes on the side. The price for the food was extremely reasonable.

Food was tasteless and not close to the description on the dirty menu. On top of that the man seating people has no personality and didn’t even look people in the eyes nor did he greet us or thank us. If you want a better experience go to Tommy’s on Pacific Ave. Much better food and service, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.
