Little to no effort.
They soak their steak in salt it's disgusting zero consistency other than everything being off every time you go they all drag.
I need to retire

Hash browns were cooked perfectly, the best we’ve ever had. Decorated with lots of duck posters and figurines. Gravy needed more seasoning but overall everything was great.

Went here for breakfast last weekend with a friend, and it turned out pretty good overall. The place had a cozy feel and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I ordered the classic eggs, bacon, and pancakes combo — everything was cooked just right, though the pancakes were a bit thicker than I usually like. Coffee was hot and refilled often, which is always a plus. Prices were fair for what you get, and service was pretty quick even though it was busy. Wouldn’t mind coming back again to try their omelets next time.

First time here. Service was friendly, but food took longer to arrive than usual. Food was excellent. Omelette had plenty of meat and cheese, was cooked properly and served hot. Prices were fair.
The place is old. 1940s kind of old. And not as clean as I would have liked. Counters, chairs and menus were “sticky” and worn. It was very Hot in there as well, almost too hot to tolerate, at least for me. Place smelled OK, but could do better in the customer experience department.

I absolutely love this hidden spot! I love the affordable breakfast plates and the family owned atmosphere. Stepping foot into the restaurant transports you back in time in the best ways possible! I love it!

Came here for the first time on Monday. Had breakfast planned with a friend and she suggested we try the Duck Nook as it was 1) 5 minutes away from her house and 2) It was a beloved Stockton diner. I've never heard of it, so it was a first for both of us. We arrived around 11am, and there were not many people, so we were seated right away. I ordered a glass of orange juice with the Duck Waffle breakfast and an extra side of hash browns; my friend ordered the Huevos Rancheros. Our food was great, and the servers were very attentive. Overall we had a great time and would totally be back.
