Came here for the first time on Monday. Had breakfast planned with a friend and she suggested we try the Duck Nook as it was 1) 5 minutes away from her house and 2) It was a beloved Stockton diner. I've never heard of it, so it was a first for both of us. We arrived around 11am, and there were not many people, so we were seated right away. I ordered a glass of orange juice with the Duck Waffle breakfast and an extra side of hash browns; my friend ordered the Huevos Rancheros....
We had brunch at The Duck Nook and the food was great. The atmosphere was fine but there was no A/C and it was warmer than I like. The service was ok. Unfortunately, we had to ask for water a few times, (no big deal) but one of the employees we asked told us to "relax". Very unexpected, unnecessary and unprofessional.

Nice pleasant and quaint; those potatoes took me back to my childhood. I had the waffle, bacon, eggs, coffee with potatoes on the side. The price for the food was extremely reasonable.
