El Mayita, located near Hwy 5 and March Lane, is Stockton’s popular taco truck known for its tasty tacos and burritos. The truck offers breakfast burritos from 8 AM to 11 AM, which are a morning favorite with fluffy scrambled eggs, ham or chorizo, melted cheese, potatoes, and salsa wrapped in a warm tortilla. On Wednesdays, customers can enjoy a $10 burrito special with top-quality ingredients like tender carne asada or seasoned al pastor. Taco Tuesdays feature legendary $2 tacos with options such as al pastor or tripa. The food is praised for its quality and authenticity. The truck also provides vegetarian options and can accommodate vegan requests. Parking is available with 10 spots, and the area is safe and well-lit, with a grassy space nearby making it kid-friendly. Customers should note that it is cash only, and while they claim to accept Apple Pay, they do not. The menu includes drinks like horchata and Jamaica, which cost $5.99. The service is quick, and the place is a good spot for a satisfying lunch, especially when looking for specials like tacos on Tuesday and burritos on Wednesday.
