El Pollo Loco has good chicken which is a good thing when it's your namesake.Enjoyed a nice little meal with my grandpa and the mashed potatoes were really tasty as well, comparable to KFC potatoes which is a compliment.

Super super expensive for the amount of food they give. I got a family deal and the rice was supposed to be for 4 people and it barely was enough for 2 plates. Paid like 60 dollars and the food wasnt enough. Portions are super super small. I also got the smallest thinnest pieces of chicken.

I generally don't get Mexican Food from a drive thru but El Pollo Loco is an exception. The Chicken is always perfectly cooked, the Beans and Rice are always fresh, and the Tortillas are nice and warm. I always get the 3 piece combo plate enough for a small lunch and a good sized dinner! Must try.
