I ordered a classic chicken burrito with no rice. I got a bean and cheese burrito WITHOUT CHICKEN, from El Pollo Loco. I'm very angry. I'm very angry! Chicken is the star at El Pollo Loco. I should have taken a picture. I don't eat there often but I may never eat there again.

If I could give this place a zero or a negative number, I gladly would. One and a half weeks ago I went to this location in the drive-through. I ordered two chicken and cheese rolls. I also ordered a drink and a burrito. I only received what was supposed to be one chicken and cheese roll, but I did not notice it Until I was halfway up the road. The chicken was old and dry and it turns out it was not a chicken and cheese roll at all. It was a chicken avocado roll that was filled with gristle are cock cartilage. The rest of what was supposed to be meat was burned and looked to be throwaway. I called and spoke with a person who claimed to be the manager. I explained to her that I did not receive a chicken and cheese roll, and there was only one in the bag which turned out to be a chicken avocado. She placed me on a long hold and then came back to the phone to tell me that she went through the cameras and saw where they placed two in the bag. I told her they did place two items in the bag plus some nachos but they did not place two chicken and cheese avocado rolls in the bag. She proceeded to argue me down, and I told her that I need a refund. she promised that she would process a refund, but then said that she wanted me to come in and see the video footage. When I told her that I could not believe that, she's arguing with a CUSTOMER, over an order that wasn't even complete and yes, it did have two items in the bag but the total order number was three items. It was also unbelievable that she alleged that she was going to refund me for the order that was missing but to date she has not. I told her in terms of coming to look at the video footage, if I am ever in that area again I will, but because this is the second time that CUSTOMER SERVICE has been subpar, I doubt that I will ever stop at that location ever again. I have initiated a dispute with my bank, because after calling to see what the status was of the refund there seems to be no one who knows about what I'm speaking. After going in this location the first time I went there, it is a wonder if the health department has not paid them a surprise visit. It is also baffling to me why OSHA has not been in there. But of course, that will change as I have also made a call concerning their cleanliness, and the lack of safety measures with grease all over the floor and trash.

I used to work at a El Pollo Loco store and enjoy the food a lot but I can tell you this is the WORST location I've ever been to! Came through to the drive thru and order my Tostada as usual and the customer service was worser than you waiting in line at Black Friday. The Guy named Winters is always impatient and gives attitude when you order and the Female who is on the drive thru window doesn't check the bags to make sure they have everything they need they just rush to give it to you as soon as they find something to grab. Oh yeah just so you all know that 1$ for a SMALL container of CREAMY CILANTRO IS RIDICULOUS. This is the only location I've been to that does this. Sacramento and Elk Grove only charge you 40 cents and even give it to you sometimes free. I also ordered the Churros here and I can tell you that they had little to NO sugar on them just burnt bread. Avoid this location at all times and go to another location to save yourself the trouble.
