I discovered Fizz bakery through my brother, who had me pick up some cupcakes for his baby shower 2 years ago at Fizz Bakery. While I was there, I purchased a big Toffee cookie to have with my coffee ☕️ and I was hooked! Not much of a treats person, but this cookie was something else!! Anyways, I was scoping around for ideas for a company birthday party snack for my supervisor, and we were limited due to allergens. We decided to go for cookies… I instantly thought of Fizz bakery! We did a total of 60 (10 variety). ALL GONE! Everyone raved about how fresh and tasty they were, and I had to sneak in 3 to bring home with me because everyone was grabbing them left and right. The toffee and snickerdoodle are to DIE for! Such an amazing woman as well. Fast responses and very accommodating. She even individually wrapped each cookie because I had to pick up the day before the party. Therefore, the freshness was secured! I love Fizz Bakery! 🧁

Recently they added an exorbitant debit card processing fee when my mother was picking up a cake and paying the remaining balance for my sister. They’ve never done this when my sister picked up cakes in the past so this is new and illegal. Debit card surcharging has been illegal across the U.S. for years and credit card surcharging was banned in Cali as of July 2024 so I’ll be filing complaints with the FTC and the Attorney General on behalf of my mother and every other customer being subjected to these predatory processing fees.
Regarding the cakes, after sampling about a dozen cakes at the various parties my sister has hosted over the years, their cakes are well designed but always too sweet to actually eat. We end up throwing most of them away with the exception of the most recent one. Everyone said the cake was moist and not too sweet and seemed like it was a different baker and we actually ate most of it. I prefer Safeway cakes for consistent high quality.
