Excellent tri-tip sandwich. Excellent fries. Excellent not to sweet personal cherry cheesecake. If not sure about what to get, ask for recommendations and they won't steer you wrong. It's a bit off the beaten path, but don't be afraid to check them out.
After receiving a sample, we decided on the try tip sandwich. I had.
The cowboy sandwich with tri tip onions and mushrooms , fabulous 👌🏼. The sauce: perfect, the tri tip is exceptional. I couldn't finish my 6 inch, saving half for dinner.
** my picture isn't that great 😅 sandwich was flavorful and juicy.
So so so good!! My mom had tri tip and I had a burger and omgggggg it was so delicious. Big portions, couldn’t finish it. Cheesecake was so good as well, will be back !
It was absolutely delicious, orders the backyard burger meal and almost couldn't finish it but it was too delicious to put down
Hidden gem just a couple miles off the highway. Literally best sandwich ever. We had the Santa Maria it was tender and juicy and a flavor bomb in your mouth. Ike came out to greet us and let us sample the tri-tip and chili, both were so flavorful. Take out only. First responders frequent this place, this in itself says a lot. Give it a try, you won’t regret it!!!
THIS PLACE IS HELLA GOOD!!!!!! I can't believe how good this food was. My husband literally just picked up our order we ordered two of the backyard burgers and added bacon to them for only a 1$ might I add, a 6-in Santa Maria tri-tip valley sandwich, an order of jalapeno poppers, an order of fried zucchini sticks, and an order of the cheese fries with bacon.... The burgers are delicious they taste like they were just taken off the barbecue and given to you from your own backyard that's probably why they call it that I mean unbelievable not only that for $13 you get that delicious Burger plus a whole basket of fries ( they don't skimp) and a drink and in these times that's a steal but for it to be a steal and still taste delicious is a win-win situation all the way around!!!!!.. The tri-tip juicy, succulent filling, delicious and that was only a 6 inch... The cheese fries came with the most delicious tasting melted cheese and REAL bacon.. I thought with the poppers and the zucchini maybe we would get 4 or 5 like any random place NO they put about 10 , or 12 each in there I'm not even sure it's so many!!!! When I asked the man on the phone what time the food will be ready he said 15 minutes sure enough we pulled up 15 minutes later and it was ready and hot!! Not only that the service was hospitable, friendly, and welcoming. I suggest if you want an absolutely delicious and affordable meal with a great portion size definitely check this place out!!!!!!
The owner is great! He told us we had to try his tri tip, which was melt-in-your-mouth-delicious! I wasn't going to order it cuz I'm not normally a tri tip sandwich person, but tasting it made me change my mind! It was so good! House made lemonade, local sourced bread, just absolutely everything was amazing! We added it to our list of local favorites (and we are in Lodi, but it's worth the drive!)! Oh and huge portions! Even my husband was beaten by the portion size lol 😅
Greeted immediately at the door !!! My man on the register knew the products and the differences in the taste, then walked in the chief the master behind the taste 👌. Truly recommend this spot !!!
Second time having it. Yup it doesn’t disappoint the food was tasty and the staff are friendly and funny it’s my new favorite stop for sandwiches
10 outa 10 highly recommend, no other place was open on new years so we gave this place a try. I’m happy to say I now have a go to spot to eat, hands down best spot in town.

Great steak sandwiches. A must try.
Best lunch I've had in a reaalllly long time
Searched best food near me and they came up 4.9 with 40 or so reviews. So I was semi skeptical
Came in to a friendly greeting right away from the staff or owners not sure who the 2 guys were. I asked what they recommend and they asked if it was my first time. I replied with yes he then insisted I try their tri tip and got me a sample. It was delicious
He then told me about the smothered burger and it was amazing
They gave me a cookie and I couldn't leave with out a homemade pie
All homemade grass fed beef tri tip and burgers served on a Genova roll don't play
Holy moly, I've heard a lot about this place and I couldn't wait to try it for myself. The tri-tip sandwich was delicious. It had so much flavor and was very juicy. Well done on the tri-tip. My compliments to the chef. Can't wait to come back and try some other things on the menu.
This is a take out only location. But the service you receive is above and beyond excellent. It was our first time today and the chef came out and gave us free samples of the tri tip, to help us decide. So we got a Santa Maria trip tip sandwich, cheesy bacon Tots. An order of chili because it was the special. And a burger and a spicy chicken sandwich. Everything was excellent.
The chicken is brined and marinated so it's tender and juicey. Then it's charbroiled. We got the spicy chicken. So there is no sauce on it. The spice is just in the marinade. The burgers are all charbroiled. And the tri tip is also marinated for at least 48 hours. Chef Ike, and Big D / Dillon were super cool to talk to. I can't recommend this business enough.
I got the spicy chicken sandwich with tator tots and my goodness this place makes some damn good sandwiches. For the prices the 12 inch is a lot of food! I am definitely coming back to try their burgers and tri tip next
