I took my brother and sister in law here for the first time in November 2025 they lived in Germany for several years and live in Iowa now anyway they love great German food which they thought they had the best German food in Des monies Iowa which is very good I was blessed to have eaten there but back to German Guys you guys totally changed their minds and both agreed that this was the best German food they have had since living in Germany the food was amazing and our waitress Vanessa was the best kind friendly and very helpful with food selections recommendations we came back a few more times before the went home I agreed with them that this is the best place to go to eat the best German food in the Central Valley also we meet the owners wife and she was just as friendly and kind spent time talking with my brother about living in Germany so 5+ stars ⭐️ please if you’re in the area and want the best German food stop in and give them a try won’t be disappointed

I came down from Yosemite with a friend and we both had the Schnitzel Hunter style, with potato croquettes and the tuna noodle salad (you have to try this). ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The waitress, Vanessa, was wonderful. We also ordered four more dinners to-go (for some home bound friends) and a total of eight wonderful German beers (two at the restaurant and six to-go for later). The price of $165 (not including a $50 tip) was well worth it.
It was like being at my Grandma Steinfadt's kitchen table.
