We. Been patronizing this restaurant for over thirty years. Today 4/4/2022 I ordered shrimp fried rice and sweet sour chicken. When I got home and served the food, there was no shrimp in the fried rice. I called the restaurant to inform them there was no shrimp in the rice. The lady asked the cook three time and he said there was shrimp in the bottom. The rice was turned out on a plate. There was no shrimp on the bottom. This place is unquestionably one of the finest place in the neighborhood. Always when I come there I am truly satisfied. They hold their high level service and the topmost level of meals they offer. You always win with this restaurant. Very recommended.
I've been going to Golden Star since I was a little girl, generation after generation have patronne the restaurant. Employee Alaine has always been so kind and friendly to our family. I can remember when it was located across the street by the Palm Reader. The food is delicious, I especially love the Pork Fried Rice, Pan Fried noodles, and Pork Noodle soup.
