Awesome food, very friendly employees, constantly great mood. They charge reasonable prices and the food quality is great. Kudos.

Had a great time on saturday night. Wide selection was great for any family. Mix it up with a cinnamon roll next to a steak. Delicious food and friendly atmosphere. Staff was attentive to the tables, which was nice to see.

Never had a bad experience. Food is good (surprisingly, the sesame orange chicken was awesome!) And the servers are pretty good at cleaning the tables.

Service was much better this time around. It's been about six months since I've been there and I must say the food is much better

Love the food. Wish they had more help. Dishes and spoons and coffe mugs aren't clean enough .My husband, friend and stepdad go there very often. We are seniors. I would be embarrassed to invite other friends and family due to their lack of cleanliness. I take little wash paper to make sure my plates and spoons are clean, especially the coffee mugs. But other than that we are regulars, love the food, fresh salads, everything looks good to eat.

Upon entry no one at the front to cashier me. Then the cashier was going to ring up/charge 2 drinks for the buffet plus 2 to go cups. I asked if the to go cups could be used at the buffet and he said yes. Then I said, "just charge for 2 to go cups.". The food had less flavor than last time. The crab salad tasted like plastic (had to spit it out). The mac & cheese macaroni had too much of a bite and did not pair well with the watery flavorless cheese sauce. The cornbread stuffing that used to be my favorite was white in the middle & again had less flavor and the soda tasted flat. I did enjoy the fried chicken, fried Alaskan fish, sausage in onions & peppers, meatloaf, brownies, red velvet cake & mixing hot coffee with the French Vanilla Latte. I do not see myself coming back any time soon. Hometown used to be the place to eat home style quality. The dinner rush was light and I don't need to imagine why.

One of my preferred buffets. Good food and courteous staff. Only problem and reason for 1 star loss is due to utensils area frequently empty despite having SEVERAL pockets for customers... and the chicken enchiladas are almost ALWAYS empty/out.

It was family night so kids ate for like $2! The food was really good and they had a little raffle thingy going on so there was a great family atmosphere. Kids loved the cotton candy so much!!

food is delicious worth every penny great food various selections desserts. main course. salads, galore treat your friends and yourself its worth the trip@

It was family night. The kids ate for $1.99. We ate big won 2 raffles and had a great night. The staff we very nice.

My niece and nephew both had fried chicken that was way undercooked. Food tasted old, baked potatoes were grey inside. Never had worse food here before. I was given 2 children eat free coupons but I highly doubt we'll be going able back anytime soon

Me a the family went to this place for thanksgiving dinner because we didn’t feel like driving to Golden Corral in Tracy as we sat down to eat I noticed a roach on the wall next to our booth couldn’t even finish a single plate this is no the first time I’ve seen a roach here 10 years ago I saw one and stopped coming here for years friends told me that they had new management and it was clean now that was 2 years ago I started going back but now I will never return to this location again I hope this doesn’t represent hometown buffet in general because my home doesn’t have roaches

Food was beyond subpar. Worst Hometown I have ever eaten in. The 1st plate I grabbed had food stuck to it like it was in the dishwasher and the food wasn't rinsed off first and it dried to the plate. I couldn't believe how bad it was. There was absolutely no ice in any of the ice dispensers. The food was inedible. My son usually has quite a bit and even he only ate a few things. It was either very bland or had way too much pepper. As I went to the restroom before we left I noticed in the bathroom stall an exposed electrical outlet that was at toddler height. That is very dangerous to have out with children present. Will never be back and have already told others of our experience.

Lots of food to choose from. Noise was high due to children. Taste was average as expected with this kind of place.
