I’m really sad that the food is terrible… The tempura was chewy and soggy… The teriyaki steak had absolutely no flavor and no char… Same with the chicken teriyaki. I really wanted to like this place. I might go back for the drinks, but definitely not the food. The service was good though… The bartender was really nice and conversational. And the establishment has very open architecture and seems like a good place to have a party.

I’ll come here for drinks, but I’ll go to L&L for the Hawaiian barbecue…

Staff is always inviting and one of the most relaxed lounges in the 209!

This place is great! My husband and I recently tried it for the first time and the food and the drinks were amazing! It’s like you’re taste buds taking a trip to Hawaii we will definitely be going again. Also the atmosphere was very inviting and clean and they had a small stage and lights, there was no band the Friday night we went, so maybe only on weekends. I’m looking forward to going back and trying a different dish and hopefully something will be going on on the stage, either way the food alone is worth returning for.

Nice cool little spot to hang at on a Friday night. Its nice to see the transformation this place got from The Ol Whiskey Barrel. The vibes are cool, the bartenders were cool. The restrooms are a little interesting as they share the sink but have 4 stalls for doing you business. All in all, I would come again though. Apparently there is food here too which I did not get this time around. Mayne next time.

Man, I miss the Whiskey Barrel days. The vibe? Legendary. The crowd? Grown, old school, and actually knew how to act. And the service? Straight fire. Islanders used to be that spot… until the owner and security started acting like they were running the VIP section of the Taj Mahal or something. Like calm down it’s a bar, not Buckingham Palace.

We pull up not even at the door yet and one of them already side-eyeing us like we stole something. We get to the entrance, and it’s a whole block party: folks running in and out, people drinking like it's Mardi Gras, and others puffin’ away on the sidelines like Snoop just dropped a set.

Our homies come out to dap us up, and boom suddenly it’s “We’re closed.” Closed? With the music still rattling the sidewalk? Y’all got the speakers on 10 and the crowd still two-stepping, but somehow we’re closed?

Look, I get having standards 💯… but make it make sense. If you’re gonna shut it down, at least pretend like you mean it. #trash

This is my go-to spot when I'm on the Miracle Mile. My go-to for food, drinks, and watching games. The wings and lumpia are good and worth trying.
I enjoy the DJ or music they have playing during the evenings. The service is good, even on busy days. The bartenders and servers are all polite and helpful. The only reason I gave 4 stars on the food was because certain foods on the menu were unavailable to order. The bathrooms are nice but a little awkward. The women's and men's restrooms share the same sinks to wash your hands. I came out of the bathroom and waited for a group of girls to take pictures before I could wash my hands.

Review update:
We ordered two drinks- which totaled less than $40- tell me why they overcharged my husband’s card when he looked at the adjusted bill on the credit card $120. That’s outrageous! Good thing he kept his receipt. Scammers.

Calling this a “Lounge” is inappropriate. upon walking-in the music was very loud i can hardly hear anyone talk.

If you’ve been to a tiki lounge, you’ll know the vibe is different, more relaxed.

Came in at around 10- they were open until 12:30am according to business site.

-no more food service when i came in at 10 so i can’t comment on that.
-Drinks were watered down. Dissapointing for $15 drinks.👎
-it was more of a club vibe than anything, not a lounge. But then there were kids there under 10.
-bartender was very nice 👍
-bouncer at the door was cool, not too threatening
-atmosphere is cool, but still, not a “lounge”

What this place reminds me of, oakland first friday nights.
