I haven’t been to this place in a while, before they opened for dine-in. I was excited to try again hearing upon the expansion but when I went to order at 4:38pm I didn’t get my order until 5:23pm
It’s nice inside but after an hour waiting for 4 rolls i think it’s safe to say it’s better to order online then pick up.

Love this place. Im not a Cali roll guy typically but this place has a bomb cali roll. My go to is a Cali roll, a salmon skin or unagi hand roll, and a miso soup. Thats 16$. Their other rolls are delicious too but like all sushi can burn a hole in the pocket but still good prices and great taste. My other favorite part is you can text it in and pay with venmo.

The food is great, but the service is unacceptable. Text-in orders clearly get the lowest priority compared to app or dine-in orders. I sent my order at 6:19 p.m. on a Wednesday and was told it would take 40 minutes — already a long wait for midweek. Over an hour later, I found out a much larger order placed after mine was completed first. I only learned this because I asked the customer directly. It’s clear smaller orders are pushed aside for bigger ones, which is a poor way to treat loyal customers.

The last three times I ordered through DoorDash, I’ve received the wrong item or an item is missing from my order. It’s so disappointing to pay a premium for an order that isn’t even correct.
Dining in is only a better experience because you can make SURE you get what you order. When I visited last week, our server forgot that our table ordered an appetizer and to drop off the check 🙄 (No, it wasn’t busy)
I want to support this local business, I really do. But I’m done ordering from here until things change.
