They never answer the phone which is very disrespectful to the people who's spend there money with you. When you go in there you can see its not that busy, this location sucks. Most of the time im very busy so I try to call my order in so I can get to my destination in due time, rather its work or home.

All I can say is, I live in San Jose and couldn't wait to get back to Stockton to go to JJ's and wish they would open one in San Clara they will not go wrong. I promise they will make it. I don't have any pictures because I didn't know I would receive this. But let me tell you something. I don't eat just anyone's cooking and if I tell you I couldn't wait to get to Stockton just to eat at JJ's that is saying a lot. Jackie's Place in San Jose and JJ's in Stockton is running about side to side.

Really liked the food and service. The guy up front was very friendly and confidently reassured me that they do not use the same oil to fry the shrimp as they do the regular fish. This is really important to me as I have a shrimp allergy but I do not have an allergy to regular fish. Surprisingly this is not easy to find in a seafood restaurant and I really appreciate that. I had the red snapper and it was good. No complaints im just really grateful they don’t share the same oil for everything

November 13, 2025 my daughter and I went to Jjs fish in Stockton CA. My fish hard and most of my fish had no fish inside. I was so disappointed. My daughter had two different type of fish and fried hard also. The hard batter was falling off. We had been there so many times before. Very disappointed. Younger guy was frying the fish. Sad.

This is the 2nd time I've eaten from this place. The 1st time was good. This time it was awful. I had to throw it away. I ordered the Snapper and the fish is disgustingly fishy and not edible and no fish is not supposed to taste fishy. Prawns were overcooked as well. The beans in the Red Beans and Rice were also not fully cooked. This food was absolutely horrible. This meal was $41 because I had it delivered. I'm extremely disappointed.

The catfish was just okay. BUT my chicken was burnt and both the mac n cheese and coleslaw were bad (like expired), we had to throw them both out.

Disappointed. I waited for 15 minutes for the shrimp and rice order at 1:20pm (no other customers) and was told after 10 minutes of waiting that there was no rice, only noodles. This is what I got, for 17.95. Salty, spicy.

I ordered a catfish with bone. The fish was overcooked, the catfish used was a large catfish which should have been thrown away. The skin was so tough you could not chew it. There was very little meat on it, what meat there was was like a very dark meat which i have never seen on catfish. I do not recommend you order this until the compay buys the right catfish to cook as bone in.
