Súper súper expensive. I went there with my family, I ordered 4 quesabirrias almost $6.00 each. And one menudo $18.00 omg in Bay Area you can buy a bigger quesabirrias for $4.50 Orchata is $5.00 and michelada $15.00 I paid $116 per 2 plates drinks and salad. I never will comeback to this place. It is shameful that you try to excuse the high price of your products, only saying that it is due to your ingredients and recipes, that only you will know what is different about it, because I guarantee you 100% that other places have better flavor, price and offers a Bigger portion, for a better price. I think you should be more competitive with your products, since the area where your restaurant is located is from the underworld.

EXPENSIVE, EXPENSIVE, EXPENSIVE! Seriosuly, not worth the price! $17 for a extremely small bowl of Menudo + $2 for hominy. They also charge 3% for service charge.

The price wasn't worth it. 3 dollars for a 25 cent costco water bottle. Almost 50 dollars for 2 small menudo and 2 water.

This little Mexican restaurant shouldn't be overlooked. It's not in the best part of town, but I strongly suggest that you give it chance. The food here is pretty good. I've dined here in the evening a few times now and have never had a bad meal...and I've tried different items each time. The quesadilla w/chicken was really tasty. Both their carne and birria tatemada tacos are also really tasty. Now the tacos are street size, so a little pricey for what you get. They only give you a small bowl of chips & salsa but will bring you more upon request. Cerveza aqui...sí!The parking lot is a little tight, but it is doable. They also have karaoke (in spanish...don't know about english)...at least on the Saturday nights that we've eaten here. I've also seen a small mariachi group playing. Now my spanish is minimal. Each time I've dined here, I got by as the wait staff's English was about equal to my spanish. But it was fun trying to make sure both understood each other. Regardless of the language barriers, our orders were perfect! So again, I strongly recommend this place. I've been here a few over the last few months. I don't think you'll be sorry.

The morisqueta is good and the birria tatemada is also delicious, but: when you order birria tatemada they give you half birria and the other half bone.

A place with a very nice atmosphere, the quality of customer service needs to be improved, the service is a bit bad.

I ordered from this place on Doordash. I was hesitant because it was a little on the pricey side for me. It was worth every penny! I got the Morisqueta. The rice soft and fluffy, the beans had good flavor, the pork with the salsa was delicious and tender. It was so soft yall that you can chew the bones without a problem. My husband got tacos and ig your thinking yikes 3+ dollars for a taco. Get them! They are big tacos with hand made tortillas. The asad had good flavor. All of it was chefs kiss. 10 out ot 10 recommend!

Amazing food! Hidden gem. I definitely recommend the burrito mojado salsa Verde with extra cheese n cream. Best I've ever had. Literally every dish we've tried here was on point!

You know you're in a top-tier Mexican restaurant when you meet these three requirements:-Questionably safe neighborhood-Staff cannot speak english-Mariachi Karaoke is blasting at max volume and/or have live bands playing.Truly the best and most authentic Mexican food I've had in San Joaquin County, and a staple for South Stockton.

This place was great when it first opened up. But now its Pricey. They have raised their prices and seems like you get less birria on an order. The birria was still good, but the salsa they gave us for the chips tasted like canned tomato sauce and they just added chopped cilantro and onions. Its not the same as it was a year ago.

Horrible Service. The Waitress had attitude when taking our orders and we waited 40 min before asking about our good. I asked the waitress how much long she said that they were more worried about to go orders than dine ins. The employees and the owner were just staring at us and didn’t even come apologize for how long it was taking for us to get the food so we just cancelled the order and when i went to go pay for just the drinks they lady up front had attitude as if we were in the wrong.
