It's not quite the same as shermans ( the restaurant that they replace ), but it's OK and it's not expensive

They have items that other reasonable buffets don't have like deep fried green beans, stuffed mushrooms and korean style wings.

Was heading to the in-laws and decided to pickup food, did a quick search on Yelp and found M Kitchen. Exited 99 South and ended up driving through the country which felt like we were on our way to nowhere before ending up in an industrial looking iffy part of town. Parked and was debating going in because of the area, while parked 3 families arrived, asked one of the families if the place was good and they let us know it was their family favorite that had something for everyone. Went in and the place was surprisingly large, open, clean and the food looked good. Found out it was a buffet and prices are CHEAP. Decided to try the buffet and had the Hubbs and kiddo come in. Both the Hubbs and kiddo loved it, this is fresh Chinese American food with the mandatory fried sweet dishes. I enjoyed the spicy chicken, fresh broccoli, fried shrimp, cream cheese wontons AND what seemed more like Japanese style stuffed jalapeños and stuffed mushrooms. They also had sweet sesame balls. All that for less than $10 for dinner?! 2 adult buffets, kid buffet and a 3-item to go that was so packed that the in-laws had it for dinner & lunch the next day and it came out to less than $40?!?! I felt guilty at how cheap it was and gave a $10 tip. They attract a nice diversity of patrons; families included Black, Filipino, Mexican, White and our mixed bag. Majority of business was food to go. Staff appeared to be the owners, and were very friendly, what seemed like the dad let me know that his favorites are also the mushrooms and jalapeños too. Cherry on top, the restroom was also clean! There is definitely pride of ownership and we enjoyed our dinner and will be back!

Went there for lunch. Got there early so They didn't have all the food up yet. But, I got the 3 combo deal. The garlic chicken is so good and it has no bone. Portion are good too.

good food, not spectacular location, but it does the trick for your chinese food cravings. prices can't be beat. i would be back to eat lunch here again and again. tables can use more condiments so that i won't have to hunt down sauces at empty tables. clean environment but slippery up the ramp to go the washroom.

not sure why this place is almost 5 stars but i wouldn't come again. the eggrolls were dough like, it would've tasted better if it was fried longer. the meat quality was ehh. i did enjoy the fried rice & chow mein, the bbq pork was flavorful. the garlic chicken was very dry, i wish it wasn't tempura batter, maybe the flour/cornstarch batter would be the way to go. 3 stars because they do have potential.

This place is worth every buck. I normally go to Sherman but now I finally search for fast take out near where I'm at and also on my way to work. The food was delicious cook very well and fresh I'm not a picky eater so this place is very convenient. Only slight issue is parking you have to park on street or be patient with the parking since it's pretty small. Inside very specious for dine in. Service was very good, next to another restaurant as well I didn't recall what it was but yeah I was in and out less than 5min. They also have other item on menu didn't mention cause I was to sure but I did see people order soup to go. Price is very low. If you ever need Chinese food to go or catering this spot is perfect. No bad view.

This place really hit the spot! There are buffet and take out options. We had to go for the buffet of course there were so many options and they replenished constantly so everything was hot and fresh! Some of our favorites: egg drop soup, beef with broccoli, fried green beans, orange chicken, chicken and zucchini, crab Rangoon, and for a special treat, jalapeño poppers! And to top it off, the service was excellent! Can't wait to come back

We decided to give this place a try because we wanted to eat at a buffet and didn't want to pay 25.00 per person at the higher end buffets for dinner price. The cliche "you get what you pay for" rings true here at this buffet/take out restaurant. The restaurant used to be a "Sherman's" takeout and these are new owners. The format is simple, you walk in, grab a plate and start to serve yourself and pay when you're done. Sodas are self serve and cost extras. There's about 14 or 15 dishes to choose from. Most every thing is deep fried. They had deep fried jalapeño poppers that were unique to any budget buffet that I've been to. I would've eaten more, but the cream cheese filling was rich. My favorite dish was the beef chow fun, not greasy like Wild Chinese buffet in Lodi. My least favorite dishes were honey and sweet and sour chicken. The batter was hard and extremely dry. The uncoated stir fry chickens dishes were all moist and well seasoned. There was no one dining when we arrive, but more people started showing up later on. The bulk of their business were takeout orders. This would be a great place to bring your children for a inexpensive meal. The owners are extremely nice, so I would return because it's a really laid back experience.
