Manny’s California Fresh Cafe

I was nervous, but this is excellent food. The breast of chicken sandwich was amazing. I added jack cheese (pricey $3 add for a slice of cheese) and removed the mayo. Still awesome. Ranch is homemade and super thick. Great crunchy fries. Crunchy ice too.

Food is not good at all wonder why the call it fresh food when it’s just not

I ordered a two piece chicken dinner with a lemonade on Doordash. The chicken, potato wedges, coleslaw, and lemonade were very good. The garlic toast was rather dry and could use more spread.

When I went to Manny's service was good, I had ordered the fish and chips and avacado burger seems like the fish was bland and it wasn't hot it seemed like it was setting where it had no crunch on the fish I'm hoping that I don't get sick and I personally don't recommend the fish and chips I did it order a avacado sandwich and that was sorta decent and the fries were good but seemed that they were fried in the same fish oil, .so look out and make sure things are fresh I wasn't to enthused by this grub,even if I had a beer I don't think the food would taste any better..

Ordered two chicken sandwiches with only six other people in the restaurant waiting. It ended up taking 29 minutes for the food to come out, and during that time there was no reassurance or communication from the staff that our order was being prepared. A simple update or acknowledgment would have gone a long way. Great food though

I was raised on Manny's and remember the amazing food from both my youth and highschool years on El Dorado Street so I feel like I'm part of the Manny's family. Unfortunately, my recent experience on Pacific Avenue fell short. The fried chicken was overcooked and dried out and the garlic bread was a rock. My Manny burger was unsafe for consumption and should have never been served. I fear that Mannys may be at the end of their road and I hope that I am wrong because Manny's holds a very special place in Stockton's history and in the hearts of its loyal customers. We're rooting for you Mannys!

Anything less than 5 stars & you’ve lost your mind. Likely the best spot in town. Owned & operated by 3 generations of an amazing family for Manny Manny years & i’ve yet to have a negative experience in 45 of them.

This location has changed owners and you can tell. They kept the most of same menu items but it seems like they got rid of some. My partner has the 3 PC chicken and it was kind of soggy by the time we got home with it but my chicken sandwich was top tier as always. The look inside has changed and it doesn't look bad but you can tell. I say if it wasn't broke don't fix it.

Food was not appealing, we ordered old-timer, Manny burger both were small patties. Not filling. Fish and chips it was tasteless and soggy. Hot dog which was extremely salty after one bite couldn't finish it. Fries were nice and crispy but also salty couldn't fully enjoy. Also ordered Chicken sandwich which was dry. No sauce in the sandwich not even mayo. Just dry. Our medium drinks were actually small drink cups sold as medium cost. We spent $120 for a family of 5.
The place definitely needs cleaning, The vents were covered in dust. Floor needed to be swept. I never leave bad reviews but this one is definitely needed. I hope when the owner sees this you appreciate the honesty. This isn't to bash your business it's to hopefully grow and live up to the original Manny's otherwise maybe consider changing the name.

Best fried chicken and burgers in Stockton. Can be very dirty and crowded. Waiting time is anywhere from 15 minutes to never getting your food because you left because you ordered your food an hour ago even if its over the phone. Happened to me plenty of times.

Food is good but customer service is REALLY bad, Girl (THE GIRL WITH THE BABY HAIRS) working the counter has the worst service. No thank you or anything, just call your number and puts your food on the counter and walks away

Worst customer service in the world. Spent 40 dollars on burgers and fries. They forget to charge me for manny’s sauce. I offered to pay for sauce. Manager said I need to pay $5 for many sauce if I use a debit card. Those are the rules and that’s just the way it is. Manager was hella unprofessional. I will never come here again
