Manny’s California Fresh Cafe

Worst customer service in the world. Spent 40 dollars on burgers and fries. They forget to charge me for manny’s sauce. I offered to pay for sauce. Manager said I need to pay $5 for many sauce if I use a debit card. Those are the rules and that’s just the way it is. Manager was hella unprofessional. I will never come here again

Place was gross!!!! The restaurant was ran by little girls it smelled like piss & the price was crazy for a little bit of food it looked like they just threw my food together fast the food tasted gross as well!!! . -0/10 definitely not what is used to be when I was young!!

Original owner was mostly grumpy but everything was always on point. Not so much anymore. Prices went up and quality went down. Used to be a place I would recommend to anyone with confidence. Now I only go a couple of times a year hoping they got their grove back. So far they have not. The food is good but inconsistent and doesn't seem worth the price. I got an old fashion this last time and the patty was very thin and was left with nearly half of the bun with no meat. Light on the toppings which was a slice of tomato, some lettuce and a very thin pickle.Taste was good, portion was not worth the price. $15 for Burger and drink. They unfortunately aren't what they used to be.

Eh. I know so many people like this place, but I am not a huge fan. I feel they are expensive for what you get

I ordered the Breast of Chicken sandwich and it was amazing! The inside of restaurant looks unlike any other place I’ve been too. Nobody has ever really recommended me this place so It might just be a hidden gem. Pretty pricey but DEFINITELY WORTH IT. If you want a chicken sandwich, that’s probably the best in town. This would be it.

Food wise this place is top-notch. The problem is they’re not consistently open and that really annoys me. With food that good y’all need to get stuff that don’t break on you so you can stay open.

Great fried chicken! I come from Fresno when possible to get their fried chicken and bring home a tray. Although the cashier are courteous, they didnt smile or look happy to be there to help the customers, our drinks were forgotten ( for our 2 dine in fried chicken meals orders), I had to remind them... Thats why the 3 stars for service. But we still took 2 trays of delicious fried chicken home to Fresno.

Have been coming here in and off for the last 20 years , place has definitely changed but avoid all these dumb reviews about bad customer service and bad food . The food is still great bacon burger was just as good as ever , fish and chips were fresh came with 4 good sized pieces. If you think the customer service is bad you probably are the person that complains about it everywhere .

Manny's has always had the BEST fish n chips anywhere. Fresh Pacific snapper and fresh potatoes for their fries. Strange to see all the bad reviews. I am a long-time Manny's customer. I've always had good experiences. My only request: I wish they stayed open until later. But I would urge the owners to pay heed to the not-so-good reviews which call on Manny's to pay closer attention to quality, service and cleanliness. Manny's has always been a local favorite in Stockton and one of California's hidden gems.
