No. I had a chorizo burrito this morning, $5.25. It came with cheese and something else. Can't recall. Discovered that was NOT chorizo in my burrito. Chorizo is a dark red color, even when you mix it with eggs it remains it natural chili red color. What I got was just a regular burrito with tiny pieces of pork.
Service was terrible

Authentic!
The server was amazing and I love the food. Breakfast is pretty cheap here.
This is the place to go, the food is well priced, and most importantly taste like the spark you've been craving, it's like moms cooking after you haven't been able to enjoy it for years. I ordered a juevos rancheros, and I was hungry but wasn't sure about ordering more. However, after my first bite, i ordered a machaca burrito and knew i had to leave a review, for those that do not know what good food is and leave over 3 stars at shitty places go here so you can have a tasye of what real good food is, and stop ruing the reviews foe everyone. If I go to a 4-star places I don't want to wonder how the he'll that food could deserve 4 stars please guys.

Great food. They have home-made chips and salsa and tortillas. Reasonable prices. Only complaint is that there is a lot of fat in the cocido lately.

I very much enjoyed my meal at Maria's Cafe because it's exactly what I went there for which was the machaca. I had to take the train into Stockton and had some time to kill before my next event and was looking for some decent Mexican food and Maria's was the place to find it.
It's in kind of a tough neighborhood downtown in Stockton but there was no problems there the service was friendly and warm if not maybe a little inexperienced so, easy to forgive, assuming that the service will improve.
The beans the rise the tortillas everything was absolutely delicious and absolutely worth the reasonable price that they charge for it

The food here is very bland very whitewashed. I had ordered the machaca & the ratio of meat to egg was off, there was mostly egg. The machaca was also flavorless. I had also ordered the Agua de Jamaica & I had to sweeten it myself, not only that but it didnt taste right. Very unsatisfactory.
