MICHELADAS EL PATRON CARNICERIA Y TAQUERIA

I been going to El patron for months ever since they grand opening. I love the vibes they present to make you feel welcomed. The owner is a delightful man, really cares about his customers and community. The food is Grade A delicious, I enjoyed the tacos and burritos. I even bought food for coworkers, they too enjoyed it and became customers too. 10/10

I saw this place on Instagram and really thought it was gonna be good but instead the food had no flavor really and very expensive definitely not coming back.

en la plaza garibaldi a $21 la michelada!? dije si el precio esta asi deberia de estar el sabor..pero no.. no tiene sabor. muy mal

This place was talked up alot on social media so I decided to try it and let me tell you. This was the WORSE decision i ever made. I ordered a chilaquiles pastor burrito, pastor quesidilla and 4 pastor tacos Supreme and it cost me nearly$50 which makes no sense and on top of that all the food had ZERO FLAVOR the quesidilla was a supreme and instead of putting the veggies and the sour cream in the quesidilla they put it out side and the sour cream in a tiny little cup because yeah I want to make my food before I eat it cause that makes total sense who makes quesidilla like that NO ONE!!! so just to clarify food was dry, NO FLAVOR AND I GOT OVERCHARGED CUSTOMERS BEWARE DONT COME HERE ONLY IF YOU EXCPECT ALL OF THE ABOVE!!!!!

I live out of the area and finally made it to have lunch here today with my parents.
Everything was great!
The owner greeted us immediately. I think He could see my dad was having a bit of trouble getting around (he uses a Cain) so he walked over and took our order. The chilaquiles were delicious (these were shared by 2 of us) one of the best I’ve ever tried. Rice was amazing. Beans were good but slightly more runny than what I’m used to. My dad enjoyed his asada burrito.
Everything was brought out in a timely manner and hot! The owner was polite and it was very genuine. We all felt very welcomed.
If I wasn’t an hour away and lived closer, I’d try to eat here once every couple of weeks.
highly recommend and would love to come back in the future. Thank you!

Not only was the owner very polite, but he made us feel at home. The food is Amazing! I will keep coming back here when I'm in the area. I may even just take a drive just to eat here. Everything was fresh, homemade and made with love. From the chicharronas, to the asada and shrimp and the Orioles. One of the best Mexican food spots I've ever ate at. As a fellow business owner, I typically don’t write reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience. I visited with high expectations, especially for the tacos, but unfortunately, the al pastor tacos had a strong, chemical-like smell and an off-putting taste. I truly hope the recipe is revisited, as I believe there’s potential for improvement.

Super overrated for the prices and sizes of the food/burritos.

Every time I oder tripas tacos i Never get good luck it always taste burnt and last week was my last time eating there the tripas taco was over cooked too hard for me to chew I didn’t want to even bother to go back I’m just not eating tripas tacos from here anymore
