I like going to this place. They have Taco Tuesday and Thursday. They have dollar tacos. They're not super huge but they definitely worth a dollar.

I grew up the next street over on Golden Gate, my friend's dad owned this establishment many years ago. But when I found out the was a taco place and Taco Tuesday, (AND TACO THURSDAY) I had to try it. Well, they get my weekly business. More than just tacos. They do make fresh tortillas for specific meals which is awesome. Staff is great and super friendly. Now, for the stern review. Food is awesome. Lately there has been a stream of new employees they have been trying out, so food does come inconsistent sometimes. But don't get me wrong, it doesn't change the experience. I will continue to return with or without dollar tacos. They have plenty to choose from. They also do catering.
Parking: This was a gas station now and before, so parking is limited and due to bad customers, including Doordashers, it can be crazy.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, family friendly, but with limited seating.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a table made for wheelchair accessibility and no need for a ramp to enter the establishment.

Did a door dash order and the menu didn't explain food correctly. I ordered what they labeled as "tacos" at $4 it turned out to be 1 taco (taco truck would be better) hot sauce was actually hot which was great but had no real flavor. It's not a bad place it's food is okay just little nit pick things.

I knew that Mr. Taxo was good food because I had a Mexican friend go in and order while I waited in my car because the last time I was in and ordered a breakfast burrito it was mostly filled with potatoes, no meat and no egg. The servers were laughing and speaking in Spanish which I don’t know Spanish . I feel that because I have white skin because when I ordered thur Door dash the burrito was very good
Probably the best burrito I have ever had. It was delicious, flavorful, and a great size. The asada was crispy and meaty, rice and beans tasted delicious. Will be stopping here anything we go to Lake Tahoe or are on the way back.
