Called in an order to go and the person who took my call was very kind. The food was ready in 15 minutes and what I most enjoyed is that the food was cooked very cleanly. There wasn’t a drop of oil in the bottom of my to go box. The hash browns, eggs, and french toast were delicious! Will definitely be back next time I’m in Stockton.

I may be long winded in this review but it’s because we know the owners. Their youngest daughter is my youngest daughter’s best friend and we feel blessed and honored to have her in our lives!!
You see, it takes an incredible family to have elevated the art of a Diner menu to heights that parallel their family values of integrity, honesty, authenticity and excellence. All of which you will not understand until you take your first bite of food. As your brain adjusts to the fact that this is not a typical diner pancake, but instead, a whole new taste sensation you might even get the shivers, like I do. Because, at least for me, every feel-good neurotransmitter in my brain fires simultaneously, as soon as I take my first bite! (I can’t even talk for the first three or four minutes - neither can anyone else ?. I have to close my eyes, just so I can take it all in!!)
I think this Diner belongs in the Napa Valley and deserves at least 3 Michelin stars - and I’ve eaten at restaurants with more than three stars so trust me when I say that! ?. It’s not fancy or pretentious but the service is excellent and fast, and despite always being packed with a waiting line out the door, the focus is ALWAYS on the quality of the food and no detail is EVER forgotten or sacrificed!
Although they “only” serve down home comfort food (as opposed to something “higher class”, like Nordic Reindeer on radicchio served with a culturally traditional bread, baked in a pot that is buried in the ground and baked to a toasty finish by taking advantage of the heat generated by the geothermal activity that Iceland’s volcanic activity is so famous for ? Totally true story!!) you will actually feel better after eating, not just full but fully satisfied, healthier and your secret belief that they just massively undercharged you for the quantity and quality of your meal will put a spring in your step as you return to your car, your mind already racing through their generous menu, planning what you’ll have tomorrow morning - when you again return, to the little Omelette House.
Because after the meal you just ate, it will never again occur to you to eat anywhere else, ever again.

Vegetarian options: The only thing I don’t eat is meat. So obviously, I don’t order a side of bacon, instead I can request extra potatoes or toast, which is fine by me.

I've been here a handful of times and it has been fantastic each time. I devoured the eggs Benedict and I've been thinking about it every day since. No wait, excellent server, big portions, fresh, quick coffee refills, good vibes. Highly recommend 5 stars, thanks ?
Everything was great here but you can't share a plate anymore. My parents don't eat much so they would share a plate here and portions here are so big but now they charge $10 for plate sharing! My parents and I were faithful customers, sadly my parents are not coming to this restaurant anymore and I dont share with my husband plates but because of this charge I don't come to this place either.

The food was great! Large portions wait time was a little long we were told 15 minutes wait ended up waiting 30 + minutes for a table. Food took kind of long to come and some of our table got their food after others. The service was just a little slower than expected. Great place to eat for the portion size. It was probably just very busy that day.
