Not as good as it used to be. The music is absolutely terrible. Sometimes if feels like more of a straight bar. Bartenders are fast and friendly though and security is very thorough.
The look of this place has not changed in 20 plus years. The clientele definitely has. Mostly lesbian and young crowd. The music is awful and the drinks are expensive. Stockton needs a better gay bar. Like something down on Pacific avenue or something? Not something way out in the boonies.

We went and tried the shrimp tacos and in truth I say it, the best tacos I enjoyed them 100%, their flavor was so good that I already want to return this weekend and repeat excellent service, and very good food, the people at the counter very friendly, without a doubt a place to recommend??

Unsafe and Unwelcoming- Avoid Paradise Night ClubMy recent visit (05/04/24) to Paradise Night Club left me deeply disappointed and concerned for the safety of patrons, especially those from the LGBTQ+ community. Despite its claims as a fun and inclusive space, my experience outside the club revealed a starkly different reality. As the night came to a close, chaos erupted outside when a group of men began assaulting a group of women. Amidst the commotion, a random bystander, who happened to be a smaller build gay man, was targeted and viciously attacked. Shocked and fearing for our safety, my friends and I sought to help the man that was attacked get refuge inside the club. We were hoping for assistance and shelter. However, our plea for help fell on deaf ears. The club’s bouncer callously refused us entry, despite the imminent danger outside. When I tried to reason with her, she heartlessly yelled, “Oh well, he got assaulted. You aren’t coming in, are you stupid? Get away from my door.” This callous response only added insult to injury, leaving us feeling abandoned and unprotected. This incident not only underscores the clubs failure to prioritize the safety of its patrons but also exposes its disregard for the LGBTQ+ community. Paradise promotes itself as a safe haven, but my experience paints a different picture entirely.I implore anyone considering a visit to Paradise Night Club to think twice. Your safety and well-being should never be compromised for a night out. There are plenty of other venues that genuinely value and prioritize the safety of all patrons. Avoid Paradise Night Club at all costs.
Sure, here's the rewrite:Stockton boasts a lively bar scene, and here's a strong contender for your consideration: featuring a variety of DJs, a large dance floor, and music videos to keep the vibe fresh every night. They also offer fun activities like pool, Jenga, Connect 4, and cornhole. VIP seating and bottle service are available on weekends!

Be prepared! It's a cash only cover. And because it's in the middle of nowhere, ATMs are far and few. DJ played great selections. The crowd was a mixture of young and older folks.

Always great to support LGBTQ+ services and businesses! As one of the only queer establishments/bar in town I frequent this location.

I'm a straight white male and I want to claim this bar.Left a star out in the food section for 2 reasons: 1st I didn't eat there (maybe I'll try their bi-pu*** buffet one of these days who knows).2nd and... 3rd: they let me use the atm in there which is all I needed. Before exiting the awesomeness interestingly themed location, I run into a older then me women holding a adorable brown chiwawa dog to which I made comment and small talk by asking if straight and preferably bi folks go there. (which is my preferred crowd) being new to the Central California area I discovered this place by accident and just being there for no more then 10 minutes before 5pm and I could tell it was a good place to meet people for making new friends and new future ex's. Especially since the polite woman with a cute little dog in front me said she and her husband were straight and had the place had a very friendly atmosphere. Similar to Menagerie the guy bar back in my hometown which I went to frequently. So wish me luck as I roll the dice of life; come out and join me and I'll see you there on the similar flipside
Wheelchair accessibility: All patrons must enter through the back which is a neat easy grade switchbacked wheelchair ramp
