The food was absolutely amazing. The server we had was nice but was very busy with the amount of tables she was covering, she didn't check in on us after we had our food and we had to ask a different server for to go boxes.

I was disappointed with my recent dining experience. I ordered Louisiana Catfish The portion of salad was quite small, especially since I did not receive any rice with my meal. Our waitress Kiara did not check on our table periodically, which affected the overall service. Additionally, my son’s French toast was lukewarm and had an unpleasant taste. His eggs were also incorrect—he specifically ordered shell eggs, but was served premixed eggs with cheese. Both the sausage and bacon lacked flavor. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant. And when brought to the manager’s attention, she never did anything or attempted to do anything to compensate us for the bad service or resolve the issue

Wowwww!! Mali is an excellent server, totally handling an extremely large section without my being neglected. Mali also makes an awesome Bloody Mary👍I was seated very quickly and also checked on multiple times by the host, who also has an outstanding attitude! I’m so pleased with my visit. Now the food, AMAZING! I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs, delicious and way too much food. I have enough for breakfast tomorrow. Prices aren’t bad considering I have 2 meals for 1 price. I’ll be back! Thanks Mali and my wonderful host👍

The wait staff could be heard talking right behind me the whole time about personal issues while my drink sat empty till the check came. That’s when I got refill. Food was bland lettuce wilted tomatoes pithy and chicken dry

Stopped in after a morning of canoeing... we received such a friendly welcome, charming atmosphere, and great food. I had the CA burger and sweet potato fries, hubby had chicken gumbo and salad. But it was so hard to choose- everything looked delicious! They even put on a fresh pot of coffee even though it was close to closing time! Super service! We were so pleased with everything.

I visted the new Arlington Texas location today for lunch and I was immediately disappointed by turning into the parking lot because of the big pot holes. Why wouldn't you fix that 1st. Secondly, their front door is located near Babes trash dumpster and the smell was terrible. Who wants to inhale the unpleasant smell of trash prior to entering a restaurant to eat, it definitely can cause someone to lose their appetite. I would suggest that management speak with Babes and have some type of deodorizer sprayed to improve the smell. Despite this, i still gave them a try. I was pleasantly greeted at the door and decided to order to go. I found menu prices to be decent even though some items were costly. I choose the shrimp po boy & fries. The order was received quickly and the food presentation was great. The sandwich was loaded with shrimp and topped with lettuce (too much), pickles, tomatoes and some type of dressing on toasted bread. The sandwich was so full that you couldn't close the bread without eating some of the shrimp. The fries were hot and had seasoning sprinkled on them. The shrimp was seasoned well and tasted good but the fries were just ok. Overall the meal was good and I was satisfied with paying 17 dollars after tax. The food was good but the dumpster smell was a complete turnoff and will keep me from returning until something is done. I still would suggest giving them a try because the food and service was good. They also made me feel welcomed.

The food and atmosphere is amazing. The service is excellent. Perfect spot to enjoy breakfast and spend time with love one's.

On June 29, 2025, after church, hubby and I decided to try the menu. At arrival, we both noticed how extremely HOT it was inside. After questioning management about it she informed us that although there are 3 A/C unites, theyve been having issues getting them serviced. Then the hostess asked how many, of course we said two. As we waited to be seated we were informed that we had to wait because the restaurant was short on eating utensils. Finally after being seated, We both opted for the Chicken Salad, Fried Green Tomatoes and Tea. Our tomates arrived shortly after our drinks practically burnt. The tomatoes appeared as if they had been refried. Of course I mentioned it to the waitress who agreed and brought us a fresh order. Then came the salad which was so horribly wiltd I couldn't eat it. The cooks are lazy and serve WHATEVER to paying customers. Although the manager gave us a discount on our bill and the waitress was sympathetic giving excellent customer service, I will not dine at this particular Huckabees again. It's not worth my time and money.

All our food was undercooked soggy fries soggy beignet like it was fried in cold oil this location compared to the other huckleberries we had gone before this one on Waterloo wouldn't recommend it. Waste of money. Never coming back to this site. Ordered the chicken fried steak. Not crispy at all. My biscuit was cold eggs way undercooked sunny side up potatoes undercooked. My girls had chicken strips, chicken strips, not fried proper soggy fries like I said everything was undercooked the cook should get fired. Get a new cook. The tall waitress could get a attitude adjustment if you don't like serving people. Get a new job
