I was a regular customer at this place. At least 2 times a week!! Just a few days ago discovered huge pieces of rat poop outside the front door. As I walked in, under their sign in sheet, there was an excessive amount of rat poop also. Sad to say I will not be going back!!! Told the workers and they did not seem to care. Disgusting!!

Good location for all your Vietnamese favorites—pho, spring rolls, egg rolls, rice vermicelli, and of course… TVs (because what Vietnamese restaurant doesn’t have a TV or three?).

Pho Island in Stockton is one of those gems you want to keep open forever, the kind of place where the food arrives so fast you’ll look around wondering if they secretly knew your order before you sat down. The pho comes out steaming, fragrant, and ready to fix your entire day.

The broth has that perfect balance—light but flavorful, comforting without being heavy. The noodles have just the right bite, and the portions? Let’s just say you won’t leave hungry. Pair it with crispy egg rolls or the fresh, bright spring rolls and you’ve basically unlocked the cheat code for a great meal.

The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the vibe is exactly what you want from a Vietnamese spot: casual, cozy, and with TVs playing something in the background for you to glance at while you slurp your noodles like a champion.

If you love pho—or even if you like pho—you need to visit Pho Island. Support them, bring friends, bring family, bring that coworker who keeps saying they’ve “been meaning to try pho.” Stockton needs more places like this, and the only way to keep them around is to show up and eat big.

Seriously. Go get some pho. You’ll thank me later!

A no frills good Vietnamese Restaurant in Stockton. Place does get packed and there's usually a 10 to 15 minute wait (this was around 1600 hours).

The star here, is their Pho. Opted to try something different and went for their Grill Ribeye Pho.. the ribeye comes on a separate dish and very savory, but if you put in the soup it enhances the soup flavor. One thing I hate with Pho is restaurant don't serve it piping hot causing the noodles to clump but Pho Island does this right. soup is still steaming and tongue burning; just the way I like it.

A place to definitely book mark for the Pho cravings in Stockton.

I order from this pho place all the time and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh, hot, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality in every dish. My orders are consistently correct, packaged well, and delivered quickly. It’s easily my go-to spot whenever I’m craving something comforting and delicious. Highly recommend!

Food is good but the staff decided to apply a higher tip than what I wrote on the check. Wont be back because of this.

Lovely place, workers are very attentive and friendly. We were checked in with constantly while we waited for seating and when were seat. They took out orders quickly and the good came out fast as well, I would say for a group of 5 who ordered soup and drinks the wait was about 15 minutes since we sat till we got our food. Which is awesome!! My only critic is the flavor of the broth, the soup is a decent portion with lots of noodles and meat. I ordered the shrimp pho, the shrimp didn’t taste the freshest but it wasn’t the worst either. I was fairly disappointed in the broth, I’ve gone multiple times and tried different versions, meatball, ribeye, and shrimp pho with beef broth and the broth just lack flavor. Other than that I think they have better dishes that aren’t pho.

Had their beef ribeye pho and it was delicious! Loved the flavor! The portions are big, the soup is rich and full of flavor.
The pork eggrolls were crispy. There is so much to try there like rice plates, banh mi sandwiches, and rice plates.
Service is fast and the waitstaff is very attentive.
Parking is limited during the lunch hour.
