We had an excellent experience at this place. We loved the nice ambience and the food. The waiters are super welcoming. I am happy we ultimately managed to visit this spot.

This spot is worth a try. They have big portions for convenient rates. Consistently neat and with great vibes. I highly recommend this place.

Ehh food. Good but not really. We ate it but we're not raving about it. Clearly. Check it out but not on our recommendation

There are a lot of meat markets with a grill out front offering tri tip and chicken, most of them are okay but Reyes is great. Tri tip is actually seasoned and cooked perfectly not dried out like many places. Chicken was great as well. We also tried the nachos, hecka good. Potato salad is made in house and their bbq sauce is tasty. Give them a try, it's one of the better bbq places in Stockton.

Not sure what it was........ But we went there on Saturday. We purchased a two meat plate and a one meat plate. Tri-Tip and Chicken, the other Ribs. Potato salad and mac n cheese. The other was mac n cheese and maybe fries. That night we had serious stinky gas. Like nothing before. Then it was followed by both of us having diarrhea. Like get out of my way chow @$$. All day and into the early afternoon. Ruined our Sunday plans because we spent it fighting for the bathroom. The ribs tasted good. Tri-Tip was medium like requested. However, the chicken was over cooked. Tough and hard. I gave it to my dog and he treated it like a chew toy and kept working on it until it was gone. Normally, with meat he would just chew once then swallow. He could not do that with the chicken. Sad, I was looking forward to that chicken too. So in the end, we had stomach pyrotechnics and a chicken chew toy for the dog. We will not be going back after the high price we paid - from the wallet to the toilet.

Good food, but very poor administration. The hours of operation are not adhered to at all--I've been to this establishment a number of times, sometimes it's open, sometimes it's not. If you get to them when the doors are open, you'll like the food.

Saw Reyes on the Insta feed and had to try it out. Went to an early lunch and we were concerned because there was no one inside the place. I ordered the meat sampler and my coworker ordered the Tri tip. As we were waiting the crowd showed up. It was packed! And now I know why. My sampler was awesome. Each meat had a specific flavor and unlike some places didn't just taste like Smokey BBQ. My favorite was the link, then the ribs (very close second) followed by the boneless chicken. The brisket was cool, but man that link. My coworker said the Tri tip plate was good and the homemade Mac and cheese was legit. Thanks Reyes. We will be back on a Taco Tuesday to try more!

All I can say is #wow We tried a little bit of everything, and I'm so glad we did. The asada fries were extremely tasty and not overpowered by the sour cream or cheese. The tri tip was both juicy and flavorful and the ribs were super tender. I'm never sure if mac n cheese will meet my high expectations, but it did not disappoint. Last but definately not least, the potato salad was perfection (just how I like it). Not pictured: bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers. My hubby can't get enough of those things, so he ordered 5 of them to bring home. FYI, Wednesdays are buy one meal, get one for half off.

I have eaten their food a few times. I am a fan of their catfish and chips. I had barbecue tri-tip and it was definitely on the tough side. Since I asked for well done, they may have overcooked it. To me, their potato salad was dry and lacking sweet pickle relish. But I give extra points for black olives. I also look at Genova Bakery's potato salad as the ***gold standard*** in Stockton. I also was not given the same meat that the guy cut for me. So at worse it was a bait and switch and at best it was family members that were running so hard that the communication and service were not fully in sync. Overall, they were kind people with a clean place of business. I fear that I may be returning here more often than I am ready to admit. That catfish is screamin'!

The wonderful aroma is your first greeting as you arrive! My stomach rumbled and mouth watering for the anticipation of delicious food! The staff greets you with a warm welcome and when asked about their menu choices, well- they talked about each dish with descriptions and enthusiasm! Then they brought out my meal, great presentation too! The seating area was clean, open area to enjoy a good visit with a friend who stopped in too. I would highly recommend this is a place to stop in and enjoy a great meal!
