Seoul Soondubu - Korean BBQ

BEST mom and pop restaurant in Stockton! It is the only Korean restaurant that is also Korean owned (to my knowledge). Something really neat is that you get two options when you walk in: dine in (pay per item) or AYCE (all you can eat). This means you can either have your food cooked for you, or you grill your own meat. I have been eating here since I was a teenager. The food is delicious 100% of the time. The owners and staff truly make you feel like you are at home. If you are 21+ and you show up on a busy night, you can ask to wait at the bar until your table is ready. They even have karaoke and makgeolli (Korean rice wine). Restaurants come and go on miracle mile. There’s a reason why this place has been here for so many years.

This is my favorite restaurant of all time!!!!! No matter where I go, I still end up craving this restaurant first. If you have never had authentic Korean cuisine, I highly recommend trying it here. If it’s your first time, just tell the staff what you’re in the mood for. They will surely recommend something delicious! I have never been disappointed here. This place truly makes me proud to be a part of the community of Stockton. We always leave with a happy belly and lots of laughter. 😁

I had a good time at this Korean BBQ spot. The concept is fun—90 minutes of all-you-can-eat, and the meat was definitely good quality. Once you finish what’s on your grill, the server brings out the next round for you to cook, which keeps the flow going nicely.

That said, I found it to be extremely pricey for what it is. They also charge a waste fee if you don’t finish what you order, so keep that in mind. It’s a cool experience and worth trying, but probably better saved for a special occasion rather than a casual night out.

Place is one of the best Korean BBQ’s I’ve ever been to, great service and awesome quality meat and sides, very friendly and fair prices too!

Everything about this place is a 10/10. I went here for the first time months ago and I still think about this place all the time. The staff and owner were great! I always wanted to try Korean food but there isn't anything like this near me. The food, soju, vibes, basically everything was awesome!!! I will definitely be making my way back more often 😋

Don’t have AC on, Way over priced.

Every time I come here I feel very welcomed by the staff, love the smells of all the different dishes being prepared, and leave feeling very satisfied by all the delicious food I ate.

#1 bbq in the central valley, has back door bar. Been here like plenty of times. Use prime meats and plenty of sides that are Korean traditional. I’ll drive 30 mins to this place if I’m craving kBBQ

We've been coming here every time we crave Korean food for years now. They're small family owned restaurant, really the only authentic korean restaurant in town. They have regular seating and all you can eat available as well. You'll have to try the food for yourself to see that they're much higher quality compare to the other korean bbq places that opened around town. The service was amazing, the owners were involved and was taking care of the customers too.

Some of my favorites and must try:
Seafood Tofu Soup
Veggie/Seafood Pancake
Bbq Short Ribs and bulgogi (You can taste how good they marinate it)
And the Jap Chae!! You won't find this flavor anywhere else(Trust me!)

ALL YOU CAN EAT is definitely worth the price! Top quality meat and great choices including appetizers!! With free ice cream too!

This place is just the best! You can either cook yourself or have them cook! Their meat and soups are delicious! Their cooking and their service is top notch! I definitely recommend their tofu soup, short ribs, and pot stickers. This is the BEST bbq place to come to! I just love this place!!!

If i can give this place a 200/100, i would! Ive been coming here for over 10 years and my family and I leave here so full and satisfied! I am from Hawaii, so I was always looking for a korean spot that is similar to the ones back home, and turns out, the owners, Ken and Young are from Hawaii! Everything from the customer service to the seating capacity, to the FOOD, is amazing! The difference between Seoul Soon Dubu and the other Korean restaurants, is their marination! They have Restaurant style, or bbq all you can eat, they also host parties. EAT HERE, YOU WONT REGRET IT! Love you Ken and Young, And Staff! 🫶🏽🔥

Most people come by for the KBBQ but everyone should come during the summer for their cold noodles. They're perfectly chilled, flavorful, and tender. The service is great. The owner is always there and super funny. They make you feel like family when you eat there. I will always recommend this place to any of my family who come to town.

I’ve ordered from here once and attempted to order pick-up another time. The food is not the issue, it’s the customer service. Whoever is answering the phone needs to find another job. He is very rude and dismissive. If a customer wants to customize their order and it is allowed why laugh at them for doing so? I usually try to give a place a chance after a first bad impression. The second time though I choose not to continue my order.
