Not sure when it happened. But be careful ordering the egg drop soup. Weve ordered it in the past and it's ONLY had tofu and veggies. Ordered it today for my mom. Got it home and it had shrimp in it. I take it back and they argued with me about how it has ALWAYS came with it. They don't have a legit menu to see what's all in their food. Make sure to ask about every ingredient they add. If she was allergic it could have been bad.

I like Sherman's food. My family and I have been eating the food for more than eight years, and it's very good. I hope they can add more new items to their menu. :)

We came here to try another Sherman as we are frequent customers of Sherman #5 on Pershing. Immediate difference is the way you are greeted at the door. No welcome greeting, besides loud Cantonese chattering in the back of the restaurant.

Sherman #2 requires IMMEDIATE payment before even touching the food for the Buffet Option. The food options were ok, but disappointed they did not have the chicken wings or any soup (as shown in earlier photos) "We ran out" they said.

The cheese rangoon had no cheese inside. Just basically a puffed fried dough.

The chow fun only had the flavor of oil. Too bad the chili sauce bottles were near empty to use for the bland chow fun.

All the chicken dishes had so much batter that they can considered a pastry dish.

The fried shrimps were ok.

Other than for the cheap Chinese food, I probably won't be returning here.

Is it good Chinese food? No, not really, it's just okay. But! For less than the price of an order of egg rolls anywhere else you can get as much okay Chinese food as you could ever want to eat, and that's worth a five star review on its own

I found this place for its HUGE lunch and dinner plates, I worked nearby, and they just couldn't be beat. Over the course of my 1st year it was typical post-covid establishment, busier that most, bit all the tables were upside down, nowhere to sit, just a steady flow of people day or night, big and delicious plates, not much to say. Then one night a guy came in after me he ordered for his family and I was blown away! Walnut Prawns, tangerine beef, platter of broccoli beef, I couldn't believe it! I thought it was just a buffet! I got walnut prawns with my families plates that night, but I am telling you this place has FANTASTIC A le cart items available all you've got do so is ask! Everything I've ordered has been delicious, better(much more) beef in the beef broccoli, really I am trekking you, this restaurant is one of the hidden gems of 209 cuisine. WONDERFUL!! I drive from manteca to take my family there, or pick up for all! Affordable prices, great quality!

One of the few places you can score tasty Chinese under 10.00 a person. Portions are big, food is great.

The flavor of the food it's great the portions and the price love it never desepoimten I can eat some for dinner and always leftovers for my lunch the next day I use to go for their Buffett before the pandemic I hope they can bring it back it's small place but great food thank you ?????

The workers are not very friendly.
