Waited a few visits before I rated this one. 5 stars all around. From the friendly neighborhood atmosphere to the welcoming staff everything was on point. The BBQ itself is FANTASTIC. The sides all offer something different. And the dessert.... 🔥🔥

First time here and they were out of everything but turkey, lamb shank, and pork belly. Got themat with the collards and Mac and was not disappointed. Best turkey i have ever had in a bbq setting. Have to get there early to get brisket and sausages.

I went in on a Saturday afternoon with a couple friends and had a pretty solid meal overall. The brisket was tender and had a nice smoky flavor, and the ribs came off the bone without much effort. The sides were decent too — mac and cheese was creamy, and the baked beans had a little kick to them. Service was friendly, even though they were fairly busy at the time. We didn’t have to wait too long for our food which I appreciated. The place has a relaxed vibe, nothing fancy, just good barbecue and a comfortable setting. I’d come back again when I’m craving BBQ

I came across this place when my mother in law was in the Damron Hospital last week. Man that meat was so freakin good and the guys were really friendly. Greeting from your Wyoming friends I will be back next month to check on the mother in law and we are planning a hoe down for her dinner. We will definitely be getting our meats from you guys. This bbq place is TERRIFIC! The ribs and brisket were fall apart tender. The sausage had great flavor and a snap! The sides were tasty too. The service was excellent! My friends and I look forward to coming back!

I really wanted to like this place since my go to bbq spot is 30 min away but it was disappointing. The brisket was tender but it lacked in flavor as well as all the sides it just needed more salt. The Mac and cheese was so gritty and had no flavor either. The beans were sweet and I get they are bbq beans but please just add some salt to your food! More seasoning something! I think I’ll stick to my favorite spot in lockford get more food and better flavor.

Went here for Valentine’s Day and it was perfect. Staff is super friendly and the food is amazing. When you do your own bbq at home it’s hard to find something that compares. This place compares if not better. Brisket is nice and tender, ribs fall of the bone, sausage is full of flavor and juicy, the pulled pork is full of flavor. The sauces are delicious but honestly no need for sauce. The sides are amazing as well. The dinning area is very clean and casual. Definitely recommend this place. 10 out of 10. We will be back. Best restaurant brisket and ribs I've had in Cali, and better than what I got in KC Missouri. You get what you pay for, and this will definitely be a worked in stop when driving through this part of town.

Finally got to try this place out and food was amazing. Only downfall was that we called first to see if any of the meats were sold out and we were told they had everything. So we drive out there and they tell us that they’re out ribs and sausages. Bummer. And they also forgot to give us pickles and onions which was a bummer also. Other than that, the sides, pulled pork and brisket was 10/10. Would come back to try the other meats but get there early while everything is in stock.

I ordered the two-meat platter, brisket and ribs, with potato salad and slaw, and it was immediately clear this wasn’t just barbecue, it was devotion. The meat carried the kind of care, patience, and love that can’t be rushed or faked. The brisket was soulful, the ribs transcendent. I’ve eaten barbecue all over Austin, Texas, and this easily rivals, if not surpasses, anything I’ve had there. Anytime I’m within 50 miles of this place, I will happily detour my life to eat here again. My mouth is watering just remembering this, absolutely worthy of a last meal on this earth. Much respect boys, you’re true pit masters.

I don’t know what to say about this place other than that it was great, literally everything we got was super tasty. I don’t usually like collard greens, but the ones here were fantastic and had so much flavor that I’m definitely going to be giving collard green more of a chance in the future. The brisket was amazing and just fell apart as you touched it. The sausage was nothing like I expected. It was delicious and really tasted home made. My brother was a huge fan of the banana pudding, and the key lime took me by surprise and was my favorite, it has little ginger snaps in it, which I would’ve never expected to be such a great pairing, but will definitely be apart of my order everytime we go again. Obviously the kids loved the mac & cheese. We also ordered some potato salad, but we were so full. We didn’t end up trying it, so it’s in the fridge for later along with some leftover meat, the portion sizes were great.
