I came here Saturday and had the most amazing experience. The grits were cooked to perfection and the chicken and waffles were AMAZING. The crunch around the waffle was heavenly. And the vibe of the family business was heartwarming.

Family owned and operated. Awesome little spot in Stockton. My daughter, little guy, and I stopped here late night for a bite to eat before heading back to the hotel. This is a cash, Zelle, Apple Pay, or CashApp only store. I had little cash, so the owner pointed out the bargain baskets for $5. My kids got chicken tenders and fries and I opted for the fried basa (fish) and fries. I figured for $5 we'd get a few small pieces of meat and fill up on the fries. The tenders were around 6 inches a piece and came with three of them on top of a bed of fries with a side of ranch and ketchup! My fish basket came with a handful of fried fish strips on top of fries along with homemade tartar sauce and ketchup. The fish and chicken were tasty and the fries were fresh and crispy! 10 / 10 would recommend to anyone looking for a home cooked southern meal. Only inconvenience is the payment, but bless those owners hearts for being a community restaurant that serves good food for an affordable price!

A dear friend recommended this restaurant to cater my mother's repass. From beginning to end the customer service was outstanding. My family all enjoyed the delicious food, especially the oxtails. The lady and her sons (i think) were really nice, but the food, smh i felt bamboozled. Paid $30. The pot roast tasted like it came out a frozen meal box and it did not taste like pot roast. The yams were bland and the black eye peas were bland as well. Highly disappointed

The Mac and cheese was bland didn’t have enough seasoning, the peach cobbler the dough was undercooked, cornbread was dry and wasn’t hot, the yams didn’t have enough spices tasted like out the can and it wasn’t hot. The fish was hot and fair but not enough seasoning. The greens were fair.
