Idk why i waited 14 years to finally give them a chance! The food is full of flavor i got a burrito and 2 tacos de chorizo! AUTHENTIC taste! Definitely worth every penny...they also have healthy options instead of regular flour tortillas they have spinach tortilla wraps! Multiple locations with a new brick and mortar opening up (soon i hope) on channel islands! Customer service was smooth and easy cash or Zelle payments make it smooth!

Trying out new things on the menu, I came across the oxnard bowl , was told it came with beans , rice, pico de gallo & lettuce, choice of meat as well as sour cream. When opening the food container I came across dry meat, water down lettuce with tomatoes , cold refried beans. For $14 it's not worth it. Might as well get chipotle.

The tacos here are great, but they can be hit or miss. The chile relleno taco is my go-to taco from here, a must try! Whewww 10s across the board for that one, it's the taco that keeps me coming back to La Bonita tbh. I've tried the pastor and carne asada tacos too. The carne asada here is good, nice and smoky. The pastor here is just okay to me. Again it's hit or miss, I've had it when it tastes great and I've also had it when it tastes not so great.Depending on how busy it is or how well staffed it is, the food quality varies. I feel like more often than not the food is outstanding, but I've also felt underwhelmed by the food if they're having an off day. La Bonita can be pretty fire, I just wish they were more consistent.

Absolutely delicious food! So thankful I found this place by total accident.

A friend of mine arranged a taco crawl in Oxnard. This was one of the stops. First of all this place is super cute. It looks like a little stand, but the kitchen is indoors. All of the seating is outdoors, some of it shaded. There is also a really nice salsa bar. I ordered a quesabirria taco. It was crispy and had lots of meat. They give chips and grilled veggies with it. It probably would have been extra good had I ordered consome.I want to return and try it again. Recommend.

I went today and purchased two burritos. Your cashier never mentioned to me that there was a $1 charge to use my credit card. If she would've, I would have paid cash. If you had a sign, that sign was not obvious. Please make sure you advise customers BEFOREHAND, thanks! The burritos were okay. The pastor meat on its own tasted salty. The birria meat was good. The consume needed seasoning. The salsas were okay. The chili pepper they provided was spicy.

This place is nasty I don't know why a lot of people say it good it not good at all I would suggest not to go and they don't have anywhere for you to really enjoy your food even though is nasty but just don't go there

La Bonita's is an excellent spot! I can't wait to go back and I was just there a few hours ago. I literately went online to see how late they are open. I had the Quesa Birrias and they were so delicious! My hubs had the El Pastor Burrito. It was huge and so good. They have a salsa bar with yummy spicy selection of so many great salsa's. They have a sitting area outside that is decorated with lights and tables. It has a great ambiance! The service is really great. Prices are fair. You gotta go check it out.

Delicious tacos. So good. I tried three different with their homemade salsas and will be back to try the others. Bright fun outdoors spot with picnic tables. Service was ok, but is equivalent of counter service for homemade food. It's about the food. Not the service. 4 stars only because she overcharged my debit card but gave me no receipt.

We wanted birria tacos, but Francisco's was closed. We decided to try the quesobirria and the TexMex from Tacos La Bonita. Both were very good! The food truck now has a permanent location, and the outdoor space is lovely, with ample seating.

Such a yummy taco de Asada probably top 3 I have had in Oxnard. I didn't love their salsa but I won't take a star for that.. that's on me. I'm so picky. I added my own when my brother brought the food home. Also I controlled myself but I could've had a lot more! So good and the Asada was perfectly seasoned. Not tough at all and all in a handmade tortilla. My brother was visiting but wanted to bring us tacos and he went and came back to pick the food up real quick. I haven't been to the actual spot but can't wait to try them out. They have three or four food trucks around Oxnard.

This is the 2nd time I've been here. The first time I went, I tried to get the tapatio ramen with birria, but they ran out. So I got the quesabirria taco and thought it was really good! The outside was nice and crunchy and the inside just had really good flavors. This time, I was able to get the tapatio soup and I also ordered more of the quesabirria with carne asada. I got it to go and by the time I ate the ramen, the soup was gone. I definitely recommend eating it as soon as you get it. There was also too much cheese in it for me. I'll ask for less cheese if I go again. The let down was the quesabirria. I forgot to take a photo of it, but it was slightly over cooked on the outside. And it didn't taste as good as the first time. The first time I went, I took it home as well, but it still remained somewhat crisp. This time it was a sloppy burnt mess with too much cheese. Nevertheless, the meat flavors were good. Maybe it was just an off day. As for the location, it is small and there only seems to be outside seating.

Thursday November 3rd around 8-9pm I always come to this place every time I'm in town but this time it was different, it was cold so when I ordered I asked for extra disposable plates to cover my food while i eat , they didn't want to give it to me because "it wasn't allowed" said a lady from the kitchen until I offered to pay for them I got one , brushed it off, food was good so I went ahead a tried to order more , I order what I had to order and at the end I ordered a side of tortillas. The lady in the kitchen wearing a black shirt , said no , I asked why and got no answer, I offered 20$ for a side of tortillas and was told no. I tried ordering a taco without meat and was told no. I am 100% sure the owner doesn't know this type of behavior is happening , just to be clear the lady's at the cashier gave me excellent service they were just following orders (Angela and Ana). This was very upsetting because it does not make sense why they wouldn't just sell me tortillas . I don't think I'll come back again thanks to the chef/kitchen staff . Hope the tortillas were worth losing a loyal customer .

Super super yummy!! I've been here twice so far. For the first time I got the birria burrito and for the second time I got the quesobirria. Super delicious and filling. I got 3 quesobirrias but honestly you'd be ok with 2, it was very rich. The consome (you dip the quesobirria in this) was super flavorful. They also give you a little tostada with sautéed onions and other garnishes like pickled onions too. I loved the salsa bar, specifically the avocado salsa oh my goodness I could've literally drank it. As you can see by my photos I made sure to slather it on my food. Location of this place is alright, its outside only but they do provide seats and tables. Just be sure to bring a sweater since Oxnard can be chilly! Service was alright too. All in all if you need a birria fix, come over and try! Worth the drive.
