My favorite coffee and cafe space in Stockton! The coffee is fresh roasted with lots of aroma. I tried many independent cafes, Trail is by far the best one. The interior is gorgeous in an old pharmacy and is great for working.

Very disappointed. Drove from brentwood to get fresh roasted coffee beans. Got 5lb of house blend coffee Fireside. No date on 1lb bags in store. Asked barista about it he called a manager that assured us they were just roasted 4 days before. He filled us a 5lb bag from the back. When I got home and opened it the beans are old. Not shinny black. The are dull and dry.
Buyer beware!

I lived in the Central Valley for a few years before moving to Monterey County

I love supporting local businesses and a friend mentioned Trail and their coffee.

I got some of the Black Diamond Dark roast , probably one of the smoothest, sweet smelling Dark Roast coffees I've tasted, ever. I took home a bag of BD to enjoy at home.

Please visit them locally or buy from their website.

I like this place and visit all locations regularly- lately service has been a bit rough though normally the barista team is great. Not sure what may have happened… but overcharging is not right- my regular is $6.30 and I was uncharged to $9.40 and coffee quality/syrup had a super odd taste to it. To top it off the hot chocolate was cold ☹️ (we had it in-store) trail what’s going on..

Studied here once and it was a good spot, parking is a little limited but drinks are good. I had a hot chai latte and matcha latte. Both good, I really liked the chai, it also had a cool butterfly cinnamon design. The matcha is solid for me, butterfly syrup helps too, not too sweet not too strong either.

The coffee here is strong and bold—just the way I like it. The baristas are friendly and clearly know their craft. And the bagel with herbed cream cheese? Absolutely delicious. I could swim in that cream cheese—it’s that good!

If you were to look up on Pinterest for comfy study cafes, just go down to Trail Coffee and get the example you're looking for! I originally was visiting spots all around Stockton to find the perfect study spot, and as soon as I walked through those doors, I knew the trail cafe was the SPOT. As soon as you walk through those doors, you are welcomed with such warmth, it's like they're wrapping a blanket around you. I would 100% recommend visiting Trail Coffee Roasters.

The barista was very helpful when I asked for a recommendation. They took my drink to my table which was very nice of them. Delicious pumpkin scone and my London fog was great.

They had just what i was looking for.. a vegan breakfast option (fasting) yummy scone and strong delicious coffee! They were super nice. It was clean and cozy.

Vegetarian options: I can't remember what he said the scone was called just that it was vegan and yummy.
