Pictures on the wall tell the stories of the vast array of famous people who also enjoyed the great food you can still order today.
A friend and I waited for two hours to get a table at the Waterloo restaurant. As soon as we entered, we had a good first impression: the salad and breads were perfect. However, the main dish, a ribeye, came excessively overdone, with darkened meat and a bitter taste. I ended up eating only half, removing the most burned parts, because I was very hungry. On the other hand, the pasta with pesto was impeccable, and the shrimps, simply delicious.
I love this place and food is delicious
This was my first time at the Waterloo restaurant. All the food was freshly made they used fresh ingredients they have a garden in the back where they get their fresh herbs from. It was a nice atmosphere the environment was quiet enough to talk. But loud enough to wear no one would listen to your conversation. The chowder was so delicious that Geneva bread and that Betty sauce is amazing pairs well together! If you like fresh ingredients this is a place to try.
This was my second time going to the Waterloo club to eat and I love it there!!!!! They have the best customer service and the food is fantastic ????

I came to town on a work trip from NYC. my crew wanted to go for dinner, so I searched up somewhere we could go and came across the waterloo.
I ended up spending over $300 for the 3 of us for dinner and drinks which wasn't a big deal, but when I got back to the hotel I realized I had taken a pager from the restaurant, as it never went off before we were seated.
A few weeks passed before I could get back to return it, as I'd been traveling through the state, but I made it a point to return before my flight back to New York.
When I finally made it back to the restaurant I intended to return the pager, and buy dinner as well as a few drinks. I explained all of this to the manager and asked if she would comp me a single Heineken 0.0 (non alc as I don't drink) since I had gone through the trouble of returning the pager, to which she replied incredulously "I can't give you a free beer for that"
At that point there was no way I was going to enjoy my meal which was a $50 salmon entree, so I asked her to cancel my order and I left.
Before this I was excited for dinner and I even wanted to get a t shirt and maybe a mug as souvenirs of my trip.. but now, I just want to go home, and forget about this desert.
Moral of the story: if you ever accidentally take a restaurant pager home, just throw it in the garbage, because that's how you will be treated for returning it.

I was on my way home when I stopped in to have a beer. I walked in, sat at the bar and was greeted by an elderly blonde lady(the bartender). I ordered a beer and was served it. After I took a sip, I realized that I did not have my AirPods on me so I needed to walk out to my car to grab them. I left both my personal and work cell phones at the counter so that she would know I wasn’t walking off. After I exited the restaurant and approach my car, which was only three stalls down, I grab my AirPods, close my door and turn around and I see her running out after me. She immediately stops when she sees that I’m coming back and runs back in. I’m not sure if this is how she treats everybody or if it’s because I’m Hispanic, but I definitely felt like I was being racially profiled. It left a bad taste in my mouth at that point and it kept me from having lunch. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re Hispanic.

Very loud, too loud. Need noise absorption badly. Food AMAZING, but pricy. You go to eat, not to talk or hear anyone at your table. They could seriously consider warming the bread, my only food criticize
Wheelchair accessibility: Probably not.

The menu was super small, not very many options.
I tried the soup and I have to say it was the worst minestroni soup I've ever had in my life. Definitely will not be returning.

We love going to Waterloo for lunch or dinner, especially on Fridays and Sundays for their specials. The food is always delicious and the best homemade pesto pasta!

Service is excellent and food is great. We thought we would have to wait for a table but we got right in and seated as soon as we walked in. We will definitely be back.
