It's very fun! Good for birthday parties or just having fun. It's straightforward, clean, the staff are excellent, and there are entertaining games for waiting. Parking is good and decent. They also have a bouncy house towards the back, good for little kids.

Outside the laser tag arena, the facility itself is decent. The larger room for a party with two bounce houses was large enough to have all the party members there without too much trouble. Cleanliness was not the best, as there was equipment everywhere (ladders, brooms, etc), things were a bit dingy. There were racing arcade machines, shooter arcade machine, air hockey, claw games and basketball arcade games. There was also a life sized Predator model at the entrance. The laser tag equipment wasn't the best, it seemed a bit hit or miss as to whether a person would get a vest/gun combo that would work well. The first one I got I couldn't actually hit a person unless I was very close, whereas, the second one I got, I was hitting people almost 3/4s of the way across the arena. Where it did shine was the arena itself. I enjoyed the two levels, and the obstacles in the arena. It seemed (at least in the dark) well kept. I also liked that there were two monitors in the arena itself so you could check your score.

Paid for 3 sessions thinking we'd get to play 3 full sessions during the first minute of the first session one of my groups vest wasn't working so we all left to notify the staff she seemed annoyed that we all left and said with a slight attitude if they were working then they have to be inside we wanted to restart to match because it's pointless to keep playing when one person is switching the vest but I didn't want to make a fuss, after the second session I was told we had to take a break to let one group go ahead of us. I was a little irked because I wasn't told that before we started so we waited. After we waited 15 mins we asked if we were up yet and were told another group was about to go before us. So basically we would have to wait over 30 mins for the third session so I just asked for a refund but they couldn't do that just gave us a card for 5 free sessions. The lack of customer service was appalling and the fact that they just started at you not smiling or being engaging to their guests was poor customer service. I dont ever want to go back ever again so I'll just give those cards away. The only way I'd ever go back is if they had employees who actually know how to give good service. We also went to get snacks waitied 10 mins just to even order we ordered the nachos and pretzel but they had no cheese they should take it off the menu if they dont have cheese . If you want to poor customer service with an attitude then this is the place for you.

I've always had a good experience until this last time. We spent half of every game trying to figure out why the vests weren't working, there wasn't a worker in sight to even help. Sadly, we paid for 3 games did 2 , and were fed up with the waste of money and asked for a refund. Really hope they fix up so I can enjoy the next time, if I even go.

Staff was great, blonde girl put in the extra effort to make my 4 year old feel comfortable as he was scared of the dark at first.Later saw her cleaning and putting a band aid on a small cut another little girl got on her hand from falling. The girl was on the verge of tears when it happened and by the time she went back in she was laughing and happy. You can really tell when a company cares about its customers and it shows with this place. Didn't get to interact much with the other staff but if they are even half as friendly as this girl was towards the kids and parents then it is still 5 stars for me.

Today was my sons 9th birthday and i wanted to make today special so we visited 3 of the top birthday spots in stockton (chuck e cheese, skyzone, and zapzone). By far we had the best experience here! when we walked in i was immediately greeted by a girl with bright green hair. "Hi welcome to zapzone, what can we help you with." I had explained it was my first time here and instead of her just pointing to the screen and saying "those are our prices" like i had expected, she pulled out a printout of the prices and went through how much each session was, timing, offered a tour of the inside, and even said i could go in with my son if he was uncomfortable or scared! My son and his friends were so obsessed with "how cool" her hair was because it was glow in the dark as well lol. She joked with the kids, made sure they felt comfortable as they were a little scared at first, by the time the game actually started they were super excited and ready to play. She was more then patient when my son asked for help and even set the vest to flash and say it was his birthday at the end of the game. I spoke with the other girl there and she showed the same amount of friendliness. All in all, staff were amazing, the experience itself was great, and for six dollars a game one of the cheapest I've seen in a long time!!! Now my son wants to dye his hair green just to go back tomorrow lmao!

Super awesome for laser tag! Might be confusing for the first game..
It was my first time coming here and I thought that the experience was okay. Just the fact that the place seems to be a little old, one of my friends who came with me to play, our equipment didn't work throughout the first half of the game and the second game as well. We first thought it was a malfunction and it would work for the second game but it didn't. During the game, we were trying to find the referee but she was no where to be found. So we decided to walk out of the game arena and we our other friend who asked for help since she has the same issue as us. So we then walked towards the referee and we told her that ours didn't work but she then told us to go back to the arena. We first thought it was because she would come out and help us but no. She basically kicked us out without having to help us at all. So having to not play during the 2nd game, one of my friends explained that it didn't work to the same referee who kicked us out earlier and they clearly had no response back. So it kind of ruined our bonding time together. We then decided to get a refund because it was totally unfair that we were being charged for a game we didn't play. So we asked for a refund and we only got half of it and the fact that they mentioned how we were supposed to go to the front to ask for help since it mentioned in the video but it didn't. This place may seem great but they really need to have better service and respect to those around them.

Went in with a couple of family members and friends and the lady in the front (young lady with white crocs) greeted us with “welcome to zap zone my name is hayle (or hallie) how are you today” and before paying she explaining how everything worked as far as game time,rules,making sure little kids were comfortable and not scared...this is something that Made me and my group feel very welcome because the girl made each and everyone of us feel welcome and happy.im looking really forward to visiting again hopefully with a bigger group next time.

Great staff! Great workout as well. My vest did go down mid-game but the girl behind the counter (red hair) got me back in the game in less than 30 seconds. Love this place!!

We had high Hope's and expectations for here. We looked up the hours before leaving our house at 6 thinking sense they close at 10 we would have plenty of time to play but we arrived and they said they were closing at 830 actually. So keep that in mind when you go. We played a couple games. Air hockey table barely works at all. And we played. Shooting game that was fun. Lazer tag arena however is awesome. It's a large 2 story arena. BUT our vests wernt registering when we would shoot eachother. Eventually we just stood in front of one another and started shooting to see if maybe we just had God awful aim. But it wasn't our aim. It was the vests not registering the lazers.
