Absolutely phenomenal experience. I got the full Asanebo tasting menu, and every course was exceptional. From start to finish, the quality, creativity, and presentation blew me away.

The nigiri was incredibly fresh and perfectly balanced, the wagyu was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the soft shell crab—which I had for the first time—was a total standout. Every bite was memorable.

I’ll sum up this place fast. Very kind service. Good sushi but nothing special. Outrageously overpriced. Go to Katsuya to get good but nothing special sushi, enjoy the food, and pay half the price. The price kills this place for. It’s not just expensive. It’s preposterous. Their California roll is either 16 or 18 dollars, for example.
