I ordered a large latte, apparently they only have one size for that item but I wasn't corrected or told that so I ended up with a regular/small drink. The bigger issue is when my drink was ready I reminded them about my food item and was assured they were still working on it. 5 min of sitting around later they ask of I'm still waiting on it so I repeat myself and then all of a sudden "they had a miscommunication and are going to start on it now" aka either never started on it or messed up the order and had to start again. They did give me a $5 voucher for the mistake but that doesn't even cover the price of their tiny lattes.

I recently visited Blue Bottle Coffee and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The Nola Shakerato, one of their iced coffee drinks, stood out as one of the best I’ve ever had - and believe me, I’ve had a lot. The flavors were perfectly balanced, leaving me craving more. Additionally, the savory Butternut Squash Scone was a delightful complement and a great recommendation by the courteous barista. However, the only downside to my entire visit was the small store size and very limited seating options. Despite that, the quality and flavors of the coffee and pastry were well worth the visit and I highly recommend this place for every coffee lover. You won’t be disappointed.

First, I didn't rate the food only because I didn't have any, but what I saw and smelled seemed GREAT! As for the coffee, I got a Cafe Latte with Almond milk and it was excellent. I get coffee everywhere I go and this cafe latte definitely had a different, "warmer" taste to it that made it stand out well! Everything else on the menu looked interesting too, and gives good reason to come back :) As for the store, it cozy, clean, well-lighted and staffed by friendly baristas who know their stuff! I got my coffee in no time and enjoyed the music and vibes while I waited! Literally, another customer came in while I waited and exclaimed, "I need another one!" and bought another drink right there! I'd say give it a shot if you never had, and not just because "you're in the area," it's worth the drive! Thank you!

$6 for a small americano is a complete rip off to begin with; worse yet that it tasted more like dirty water than a decent cup of coffee. Absolutely not worth it. Don’t waste your time with this place. There’s plenty of better coffee options in the area, with a realistic price tag and better atmosphere & seating options (only 3-4 outdoor seats here in front of the trader joes parking lot).

The coffee is 4/5 because it's good but less than what you get at the original Oakland location. (Maybe it's the water?)But the spot has a little outside seating area next to Trader Joe's and Mendocino Farms! So great spot to knock out a meeting or two then get the groceries with free parking.

Great coffee! The best fresh beans 2,3, sometimes 1 day from the roasting date. And from the store drinks I really enjoy New Orleans iced drink.

Nice location, ordered a matcha latte, it was decent. The service was okay only one customer service rep said hello the other just looked and said nothing. The only thing I’d say is they should look into other options besides paper cups for iced drinks. Not sure if that’s an intentional marketing strategy to not use plastic. But something to consider moving forward. I would likely not visit again.

I went there this morning to get coffee, was out front a little before 6 am. The hours posted on the door and on Google say they open every day at 6 am. The people working there showed up around 6 am and as they were walking in one turned to me and said, 'you know we don't open for another hour right?' How does one know when a store opens, hmm? Well, the hours posted on the door of the business is usually a clue. I pointed at the hours on the door and the employee said "that hasn't been updated yet". I told her it said on Google the cafe opens at 6 am, she said "that hasn't been updated yet." So, how bout updating your hours, Blue Bottle? I feel like this is something you would learn on day one of 'How to run a business 101' - Let people know when you're open.

$8 for a coffee but they couldn’t warm up my croissant in the toaster oven. It’s the rules. Apparently it’s only for bread… ?
