Have to be honest did not have anything to eat,I called night before to make sure they had the special relish for Chicago dog, asked the person answering the phone 3 times I don't want regular relish, I want it just like they make in Chicago, oh yes sir we have so I drove in from.santa Clarita and of course they did not have the special relish, big time liars, explained to guy what happened and did not care, so I quietly left, called to talk to owner and he said his employees don't know, we'll teach them, outside was dirty and I walked in its old but clean the tables, its a gimmicky place with poor service I will not ever go back to Carneys

Probably the worst hot dog I’ve ever eaten. So, bad I didn’t finish. The quality of the sausage is BAD, the skin is just hard and chewy. Don’t come here if you’re looking for a good hot dog, please. What a disappointment!

Very disappointing experience. The fries were cold, the sausage was burnt, and the food was extremely greasy. The bread was completely soggy and soaked in oil, which made the whole meal unpleasant and hard to eat. I honestly cannot believe I paid around 40 dollars for this low quality, poorly prepared food. This was easily one of the worst meals I have had in a long time. Absolutely not worth the money, and I will not be coming back.

Snappy dog! I passed by about once a year and always stop in. Had the Tennessee dog, mustard, onions, chili all topped with coleslaw. Unbelievable!!

Carney's is a great diner. The experience of eating in an old Railroad car is wonderful and that ambience is matched by the amazing food. Everything is cooked to order and all the employees are wonderful.
I tried a Carney's Dog with Chili Cheese fries and my friend had a cheeseburger. All of them were delicious and you recieve generous toppings on everything. To the point that next time I think I'll just get regular fries cause there was enough chili on the hot dog for both it and to top the fries. Not that I'm complaining.
Everything was a delight and I look forward to coming back again. They also have some great old school shirts for sale.

Im something of a regular at this Carneys, and Felipe at the grill always treats me right. The burgers and fries are always fresh and quick. The banana shake is lovely. The quality is better than in n out and usually quicker. This is my real world happy place. Ive never regretted coming here, and will keep coming here every week for as long as I live in LA.
