I wanted to try a new taco spot nearby, I pass by here every day so wanted to give it a try.
I am VERY disappointed, the food was not very good. I took a chance and got 12 soft tacos and a drink. The tortillas were so dry and hard, they almost tasted stale. Don’t even get me started with the meat! It had no real flavoring at all, seemed very dry as well. The people working weren’t the nicest either besides the cashier. No one was very attentive when asking for condiments, plates, etc. I did not feel welcome or attended at all. This was super disappointing! I REALLY wanted to like this spot, especially with all the vegetarian options! The atmosphere wasn’t terrible either, I did enjoy the outside dining and there was more seating hidden in the back.

Good food. However they're very stingy with the salsa. They want to charge a dollar for a tiny amount.

I am vegetarian so I specifically ordered "soy chorizo" nacho fries and a bowl via Uber Eats. Seems like they didn't have the soy chorizo so they put some nasty vegetables. Overall, it tasted terrible and there was literally no salt in the whole dish. Very disappointing and I paid a lot for it. If they didn't have the soy chorizo, they could have called me or notified me.

We asked the cashier what was most popular and what he recommended. As a first time customer never ever again. Tacos and burrito were flavorless and dry. Spent $63 just for it to go to the trash. Really disappointed

Where do I start? The tacos were very dry to the taste. The tortillas tasted stale, the meat seem overcooked. Also I had their breakfast burrito which won number 1 for worst burritos I've tasted in my life. I've had better mom and pop shops for breakfast burritos. The service was mediocre at best. I will never eat here again nor recommend this place in the future to anyone I know.

Damn good vegan options and good sized portions! I hadn’t been to a Hugo’s in many years, and this was a pleasant surprise. The vegan chicken taquitos were healthy sized, cooked super well, and the avocado dipping sauce was SO GOOD! I also ordered a crispy potato taco and it was very stuffed and quite flavorful.
Parking in the back is decent size and easy to navigate. We ate outside and the tables were very clean too.
I will definitely be coming back!

$25 for 4 tacos and a drink. Which would be okay if they TASTED good. The meat had no flavor and the tortillas were hard. $1.00 for salsa that doesn’t even taste like much is also outrageous.

Good tacos. More like a street taco. No barrilas, which surprised me. Also tried the chicken sandwich, not sure why because I love tacos but was in the mood I guess and it was good. Large. Reasonable prices. Getting in the parking lot is a bit sketchy if you enter from Coldwater, which may be the only way, because the driveway is both ways so you may meet a car coming out.

First time to visit and it was wonderful. It’s a walk up to the window to order kinda place with some outdoor seating. Plus they have a small indoor seating area as well. Parking is tight but there are a few spots.

Long time customer of Hugos as I live a stone's throw away (and remember when it was Jacks burgers). The staff is always friendly and they are efficient to get food out in busy times. I know this may not be "traditional" tacos to some folks but its really nice to have vegan options and also the salsas are fire, I rotate them. My go tos are carnitas or breakfast but I love the new crispy chicken taco. Always hits the spot. I'm glad they added a seating area so we don't need to watch cars honking at the on ramp but bathroom for customers would be nice especially since they provided games to sit and take a load off.

The tacos are fantastic. The salsas are fresh and the service is quick. Love Hugo’s taco and restaurant.
Good food. Got the carne asada burrito. Pretty dang good. Like a fancy version of a hole in the wall place. The different salsas they have are really good. Also good chips.
