Ignored my friend and I when we walked in, didn't get served for a good little while. When we did, she told us the wait would be 10-14. We waited 40 MINUTES for our food, and there were only 2 other people waiting for their food in the cafe before us. I got up 3 times to ask if the food ready and she said "yes it's coming" each time, only to have it not come out. Then she packaged it up to go, even though we were seated at a table and never ordered it to go. Then the food was under par and filled with salad / veggies instead of the actual pad Thai and soy teriyaki beef. Not good enough and a terrible experience.

I've been sleeping on this place! I went for the first time after having lived across the street for a year. It's a vegan Thai restaurant in a little strip mall, parking can be difficult if you go during busy hours. They also have burgers and salads. So flavorful, so hearty, and a great bang for the buck. I ordered the Thai beef jerky (so good! Better than traditional beef!), the vegan pad thai, and the vegan nachos. The only thing I would say is they seemed a little short staffed or slow, but no major complaints. I think I just might have been thrown off by the name "Kale and Quinoa" and automatically assumed it was all raw vegan and lacked flavor but shame on me for that.

Kale & quinoa has supplanted sun cafe as my go-to vegan spot in the area. Food is so fresh and tasty, plus it's really affordable. Love it here!!

My wife and I love this place. We love being able to have vegan Thai iced tea, and we love the Wanton soup. We’ve been coming to this place for a few years now. I would recommend it to anyone. We’ve always had friendly and amazing service and we’re always made to feel welcome.

Food is great - really fresh and yummy. And it seems like a family run business. Very friendly, good customer service. Really love having another vegan place in the neighborhood!

I RARELY leave reviews but this takeout order was highly disappointing. I ordered the Prime Rib and the Steak Burger. Both of which tastes like a chef who was limited to 2 seasonings, and none of them were salt. I'm on a plant based diet, but also know that seasonings are your friend, ESPECIALLY with meat alternative products. I could have made any of these dishes by popping open a package of frozen Gardein burgers or "orange chicken" and made my own brown rice with veggies. For the price point, this was highly disappointing. Save your time and money, and go to HOPE in studio city...they actually know how to season their food...

Delicious vegan food! Expansive menu with lots of selections. I had the lunch special of green curry with tofu and it was yummy and only $10!!! My partner had a steak and cheese burger with fries. Even if you're not a vegan you will enjoy the food which is freshly prepared with each order. I will be back.

Clean. Quick. Friendly staff. Very good curry. Nice portions. Good prices. Parking lot. Please get cruelty-free handsoap in the bathroom.

Stopped by here by chance on my way home. The place looks nicely put together and probably a decent atmosphere for drinks, but I came for the food. The food is awesome. I had the Viet Nom Nom Wrap w/ french fries. This pub is a good find if you are looking for healthy food served late.

Best Vegan food I've had! If vegan is this good then i don't ever wanna go back to my previous eating habits. We ordered the Impossible Burger, Viet Nom Nom wrap and tachos...All incredibly DELICIOUS! Well recommended. Good environment, good food and friendly people.

I was excited since this is my neighborhood vegan restaurant. At my first attempt to dine here I arrived and the restaurant was closed. (...closes at 4pm reopens at 5pm) I came today and wow! What a cold reception! The woman in glasses who was to take my order seemed quite unfamiliar with the menu items. When I asked her what were the ingredients in the salad dressing for the Kale and Quinoa salad, she couldn't tell me. She was irritated, dismissive and finally in a huff, said lemon juice and ginger... What a disappointment. It appeared she wasn't interested in having me as a customer. I left. Would've given 0 stars if I could. Bummer.

Love this place. Salads were out of this world. Pad Thai, delicious!

I've always been a big fan of Thai food, and with so many vegan restaurants that have this American/ Thai fusion thing going on, I had to give this restaurant a try. Now, my review is based off of their dishes, specifically just one dish which I oh so can't recommend enough. Unfortunately, I didn't dine in, so no service / wait time commentary. After reading so many negatives reviews talking about "oh this place is called quinoa but doesn't even sell it" or "they don't even have kale on the menu" Blah blah. First of all, yes they do lmao. There's literally a dish called the kale and quinoa salad. Secondly, do you love curry? And I'm not talking any type or curry, I'm talking thick yellow delicious curry dunked with yummy juicy noodles and some sprouts to add crunch on top? Yea that sounds bomb doesn't it. Low and behold, their Yellow curry noodle (that's apparently a thing in Thai restaurants.) now I'm not saying this is the best I've ever had, because god knows I have plenty of curry noodles to put in my tummy from restaurant I haven't tried yet, but this comes so close to being a first place for curry noodles! Seriously, the curry flavor is just oh so good, the spices and tad bit of sweet flavor from the milk just leaves your mouth watering. And the noodles!!! Aaah they're so chewy and thicc (two c's) and cooked to perfection, sometimes makes me want to order an extra side of noodles. Oh, and you have the option to add protein, and I've always gotten the beef because the tenderness of each beefy bite pairs so good with this dish. And in case you want your greens because "health"; I highly recommend ordering a side of steamed kale and drowning them on your curry soup. Makes the bowl feel complete! And don't get me wrong, I've order their prime ribs (bomb) and their chicken satay (also bomb dot com) but that curry noodle tho?? Okay food orgasm over, just order the damn thing and find out for yourself haha
