Although there was a bit of a wait, since the restaurant seemed to be short staffed, it was worth it! Loved the panang curry, bbq pork fried rice, and chicken larb.

They call them drunken noodles because there’s supposed to be so much sauce that the noodles are drunk on it. The shrimp in the shrimp fried rice is not deveined so to be quite literal, it’s shitty. I asked for a side of sriracha and lime in the notes on the dish and on the order itself and they missed both. I’m not mad just disappointed.

We wrote that my sister had deathly peanut allergies on our uber eats order in all caps. We then called to ensure they knew that we had peanut allergies and they confirmed that they saw the note on uber eats and that they will ensure there are no nuts. My sister took a bite and THERE WAS SHAVED PEANUTS IN THE DISH. We had to call an ambulance and go to the hospital. I’m so disappointed and will never be coming back here

Honestly, those guys are so cool. Their food is so good. I really enjoy it. Disregard all the bad reviews cause then people haters. Love the soups get it with extra spicy. You won’t regret it or maybe you will hee hee. Looking forward to going back to try the Larb. I was very very surprised how good it was and I was so hungry and I just kept on ordering because of how good it was wish I tried more things and I wish I tried the sticky mango rice.

We had the yellow curry which was alright! The Khao soi was inedible unfortunely. We threw it out after one bite (and we hate being wasteful), not sure what was wrong but something was wrong

First time ordering from here. Read the reviews and were optimistic.
We ordered chicken pad thai, fried chicken, and the karee roti. Everything was so oily and greasy it was inedible. Of course, we expect some oil in the cooking process, but it was really bad, for all the dishes. So much so that after a few bites of each, we couldn’t finish any of it.

The service was nice and the dining area looked clean when we picked up our order.

The pad thai was so oily it overpowered any flavor. Not much to it, just noodles, chicken, some bean sprouts and nuts.

The karee roti was the best dish of the three, but again, the oil just overpowered any of the rich flavor.

The fried chicken, bland. Too oily, not seasoning to the coating unless there is but I could taste it through the oil.

Overall, pretty disappointing

We used to come here often. It normally was packed. Something has changed. Food was not that good, it’s only edible. No service at all. We had to wave for their services. And it’s not busy at all. We won’t come back anymore.

My favorite Thai place in the neighborhood! The food is very much homemade and delicious. I had the best Tom Kha Ga soup, and my friend the duck pineapple curry. One of my go to spots for cozy, comforting food and atmosphere.

The food is CONSISTENTLY EXCELLENT in terms of taste, portion, quality fresh ingredients, service and presentation!! This is the best Thai food in the area and I highly recommend Khao Soi Thai not only for all the previous reasons but also for its delicious diversity in menu options that are priced very competitively. You won't find a better value proposition if you want a great meal!!

Don’t come here- the rice here is like eating oil. We got the BBQ Pork fried rice and the Pork Panang Curry- both meats were so bad. Lacked flavor. The pork in the curry was really chewy and rubbery :(
Portions are small too- not worth it!

Best spicy pad Thai in LA hands-down, and I’ve been searching here for 20 years.

Go elsewhere. Can’t even explain how bad the experience was. Expensive food and very poor taste, presentation and service. Very disappointing experience. Came home with upset stomach and terrible stomachache

For friends who value cleanliness in a restaurant, avoid this place. It was a terrible experience—dirty utensils, and even after replacing them twice, there were still greasy fingerprints on them. The owner’s attitude was extremely rude. When I suggested that they check the utensils for cleanliness before serving, she was very hostile and refused to accept my advice. She said the dirty utensils were the machine’s fault, not theirs, and added, “I’ll just replace them for you.” I was simply trying to offer constructive feedback, and there was no need to treat a customer so harshly. Oh, and I ordered a cup of coffee, and there was broccoli in it—despite the fact that none of the food we ordered contained broccoli.
