We visited Lal Mirch after a long day of exploring LA, feeling tired and hungry. The food was enjoyable—both the sabji and naan tasted good, though not extraordinary. For someone without many Indian food options around, it would definitely be satisfying. However, being from the Bay Area, where there are plenty of great Indian restaurants, I felt it didn’t quite reach that level of flavor.

This place was AMAZING!! The service was great every one was so kind and great at clearing the tables when there were empty plates/refilling water. The tea is a must have after your food! The food was SO GOOD. Place was very clean.

Had the chance recently to get food at Lal Mirch. Tried the Chicken Jalfrezi and Chicken dopiaza, and I can say they were absolutely amazing! I had requested them to be made extra spicy and they delivered ? Have to call out that the ingredients were very fresh. Food held up perfectly well, when I had leftovers the next day. If you are in central LA/North Hollywood area, this is probably the most authentic Indian food in the area.
